What's On Tonight (Thursday): "In The Dark" Dims The Lights On Its Second Season

Via Tumblr

Tonight we bid a temporary adieu to this oddball CW late spring/early summer series about a blind woman who somehow ends up in over her head in the middle of a drug business. (Initially she was trying to solve the murder of her best friend who suddenly disappeared which made a pretty good first season, but this 2nd season the show morphed into being about her being blackmailed into working for a drug kingpin series and the series kinda turned into one of those protagonist does increasingly bad things type shows and between this, Good Girls, and The Blacklist, we already got a slew of those) It does however feature a dynamic central character/performance from Perry Mattfeld as the blind woman who's very hard bitten and believably acidic. She would be the reason to watch honestly. Rich Sommer from Mad Men co-stars as a cop who was initially friendly at first but well no spoilers here... This is What's On for July 9th 2020
