What's On Tonight (Thursday): Blindspot Has One Last Blind Spot To Fill In

Via Tenor

Hello Everybody--Tonight I spotlight the very last episode of Blindspot. I always enjoyed the heck outta this crazy and incredibly far fetched show. It was always quite nutty, but I ended up enjoying a lot of the nuttiness as well as most of the supporting characters. (I Love You Agent Patterson!!!) (And I Grew To Like You Quite A Bit Too Rich Dot Com!!!) (Seriously, someone give co-star Ashley Johnson another show post haste--cause she was incredibly charismatic on this!)  So join me in bidding adieu to Agent McStubble and his Tattooed Lady....this is What's On for July 23rd 2020

Streaming

The Dog House (HBO MAX):Its a UK produced British Finding Dogs Homes show. (So if you like dogs...)

Tig 'N Seek (HBO MAX): 8 year old Tiggy and his gadget building cat search for the lost items of Wee Gee City.  (I don't know why I spotlighted this either!)

Broadcast

Young Sheldon (CBS): Rerun of that time that rival young genius Paige runs away from home because she's feeling very emotional about her parents' divorce and Sheldon tries to lend her an ear/shoulder which goes about as well as you'd expect (To be fair, Sheldon does have his moments of empathy here and there); Meanwhile George Sr is angry that George Jr (aka Georgie) is paying other people to do his chores for him. (Its all very Leave It To Beaver)

Ellen's Game of Games (NBC): Rerun of episode titled "I Will Always Love Goo" (Awwww)

Holey Moley (ABC): For some reason ABC has reruns of its usual Thursday night lineup scheduled for tonight including this one which is about a scrapbooking queen taking to the links.

Celebrity Watch Party (FOX): This experimental thing about semi famous people all watching the same tv show together and commenting on it comes to a close tonight with an episode titled "The Couch Is Lava" (This show had episode titles?!?!?!?) IF God is merciful and the quarantine can end, this show won't have a reason to come back next summer!

Killer Camp (THE CW): Not affected by the pandemic however was this summer reality filler show which was shot months prior to shutdown, and is about a bunch of contestants trying to outlast one another while a "murderer" murders them all one by one. (and the last one standing receives money, and presumably bragging rights as well) Tonight's ep "One In The Eye of the Killer" which features a mud pit, a freezing lake, and some rather sharp axes. (shrugs) I don't know either!

Cannonball (USA): "Dare To Cannonball" (Nods) (Dare To Cannnonnnnnnn)

Christmas In Rome (Hallmark): Lacey Chabert is a tour guide in Rome who tries to teach a businessman about the meaning of Christmas (what? why?) I'm guessing love develops. (what? why?)

8:30

The Unicorn (CBS): Rerun of that time Wade tries to define his casual relationship with Caroline (That was Betsy Brandt right? Google says yes!) while Delia and Michelle try to help Grace with an awkward situation. (CBS? CBS? CBS?)

9:00

Mom (CBS): Again its the episode where Christy flees the scene after hitting a parked car, but then comes back and tracks down the owner to make amends (this is like the 4th time or so this one is being rerun!) Meanwhile Bonnie and Adam try some communication exercises recommended by her therapist. (Its fine, but you know I might have a case of the "I've seen the same rerun before" blues here)

Blindspot (NBC): Top Pick of the Night (and it had to be) goes to this much liked (and often sublimely ridiculous) show. This show could've have easily gone another couple seasons, so I dunno why NBC was so quick to give it the bum's rush out the door (ratings be damned), but on tonight's finale the team races to cross their t's and dot their i's as they race to solve one last case together. (The synopsis was pretty damn vague about what's happening, and since they resolved the ongoing plotline of the season on the last episode that aired...and managed to get themselves re-instated in the process--who knows what this last episode will bring.) The episode is titled "Iunne Ennui"

Don't (ABC): Again for some reason ABC is running reruns tonight---including a previously aired episode here called "Don't Parent Trap On TV" about a pair of siblings who recruit their divorced parents to help them try to win some money by participating in a bunch of challenges all starting with the word "Don't"

Beat Shazam (FOX): Returning to the schedule tho its a rerun is this game show with Jamie Foxx

Master of Illusion (The CW): A pair of reruns are filling out the hour here

Mountain Men (History) "Bloody Knuckles"--Jake's latest mountain lion chase leads him to an angry bear; Tom and Jack take on a commission to build an ancient atoll; Jason builds a giant steal trap. (Who are these people?!?!?!?)

Restaurant Impossible (Food): Mama Luarzzia's in Bellefonte, PA

Ghost Adventures (Travel): The Grand Canyon Caverns on Route 66 (Get Your Kicks Yo!)

When Sharks Attack (Nat Geo): "This is feel like...when sharks attack" (How can you just leave me bleeding there...alone in the middle of the ocean...too cold...)

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Duke Slater wins an amateur talent content by making jokes at Gomer's expense. (Gomer's probably ok with it--he's a pretty good sport right?)

9:30

Mom (CBS): Extra rerun episode has Tammy having trouble and not knowing how to react with being granted an early parole; meanwhile when Bonnie's holiday gift to Adam is greeted with a lukewarm response, she doesn't know how to react. (It happens to the best of us sometimes Bonnie!)

Green Acres (MeTV): Trapped in a mysterious cave under the farmhouse.

10:00

NCIS LA (CBS): When a petty officer is murdered at a poetry slam event, the team must investigate. (Now this....this is why I live for telling you all what specific episodes of tv shows are on tonight!) (and yes its a rerun of course)

Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): When Chief Garland's pastor is arrested, he must put his personal feelings aside to help Benson and the others figure out what happened that ended with this result. (shrugs)

To Tell the Truth (ABC): Rerun of that time the panel included Tomas Lennon, D'Arcy Carden, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Andrea Savage

Lost Resort (TBS): New reality show about a bunch of people trying to forget their daily stresses at some new age wellness resort/health spa/retreat. (I don't know, I've seen a bunch of ads for this, but I could not tell you what this is trying to be---is it like "Couples Retreat" here???)

Tacoma FD (TRU TV): Resuming its 2nd season here (tho I'm not sure how many episodes they got to make before the shutdown happened) this scripted comedy tonight has "Wolf Boykins returning to lead the station choir, the Ex-SINGuishers; Eddie teases Emory for joining the group but soon finds himself vying for a spot as the lead whistler; Lucky looks for a more female friendly uniform." (I guess enjoy the new episodes while they last???)

Alone (History): "Snared" (This runs for 90 minutes tonight rather than the usual hour)

Dead Files (Travel): Chester Springs, Pennsylvania

Most Wanted Sharks (Nat Geo): The Most Wanted team goes after the ten most sharks (This is a spinoff of the CBS show FBI's Most Wanted right?)

THAT'S ALL I GOT FOR TONIGHT....HAPPY THURSDAY??? MAY THE SPIRIT OF THURSDAY FILL YOU WITH ALL ITS THURSDAY GOODNESS. (I DON"T KNOW EITHER)
