What's On Tonight (Monday): "Roswell, New Mexico" Finally Gets Top Spot

Via Giphy

Hello one and all, Today we honor CW reboot "Roswell, New Mexico" It helps that there's not a heck of a lot else on, but still "Roswell" (salutes CW network logo) Dare To Defy Roswell...Dare To Defy. This is What's On for June 15th 2020.

8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): Rerun from April where upon receiving some unexpected news, Tina decides to do something she's never done before---skydiving. Do Dave and Gemma join her and Cedric on the airplane wearing parachutes? Is this a show about overly close neighbors??? (nods)

The Titan Games (NBC): West Region Premiere finds NFL player Victor Cruz and professional stuntwoman Jesse Graff joining the fun and judging possible contestants. (sure why not???)

The Bachelor--Greatest Season Ever (ABC): Continuing on in a 3 hour clip show (why?!?!?!?) this night takes a look at the Kaitlyn Bristowe season. (sure why not???)

9-1-1 (FOX): Rerun!

Whose Line? (The CW): Rerun from April of Jeanine Mason (New Reruns!)

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): NEW however is this show where we look at "Vintage Honolulu" including a New 19th century Hawaiian pol pounder, a Dirk Van Erp cooper vase, and an 1888 Joseph Nawhi oil paining.

Guy's Grocery Games (Food): More fun and games with Guy Fieri.

June In January (Hallmark): "When her fiance receives a job offer, a woman must suddenly plan her wedding in 3 weeks" (sure why not???) Starring Brooke D'orsey, Wes Brown, and Marilu Henner (ooh! Nardo herself!)

8:30

Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS): "Ralph Lauren and Fish" Rerun where Bob and Abishola finally go out on a proper date (finally!!!) only to have it interrupted by his mom's medical emergency which Abishola unsurprisingly turns out to be excellent at handling. (Cause you know she's a nurse!)

9:00

All Rise (CBS): Rerun from November involves regular show characters Mark and Emily going head to head against each other in court, while Mark finds himself having to cross-examine Judge Lola's mother (whom he's known a long time as he and Judge Lola went to law school together) when she volunteers to be a character witness to a homeless teen charged with felony vandalism. (I believe her mom is played by L. Scott Caldwell--its been a recurring role on the show too)

The Wall (NBC): "Janeris and Jessenia"

9-1-1-Lone Star (FOX): Rerun

Roswell, New Mexico (The CW): Top Pick of the night goes to the 2nd season finale of this reboot ("Roswell" of course was a WB show that ran from '99-'02) which tonight finds "Liz realizing that she can't save everyone she loves from the deadly threat at Crash Con; Max facing immediate danger; and Michael becoming caught up in the conflict between Jesse and Max, while Kyle faces a moral dilemma." (Crash Con '20 is gonna be off the chain yo!) (do the kids still say "off the chain???")

American In Black and Blue 2020 (PBS): Hour long special takes a look at the struggle for racial justice , accountability, and equality. (I'm sure this could all fit inside the space of an hour!)

Buried Worlds with Don Wildman (Travel): The dark mysteries of voodoo, blood sacrifice, and learning the truth about zombies in Haiti; In New Orleans, he witnesses a top secret ritual in which a voodoo priest is possessed by a God of Death. (A God of Death?!?!?)

9:30

10:00

Bull (CBS): Rerun from April has him taking on the case of a train engineer who is on trial for criminal negligence after he lost control of a train he was operating and was in a horrible crash, but here's the thing, he can't remember what happened due to brain injuries sustained in the crash itself, so was he actually at fault? Will Bull find out the truth? (Is this a CBS procedural?)

Songland (NBC): 2nd Season Finale of this show finds Usher joining the judge's panel in this "Shark Tank but with musicians pitching songs instead of inventions" show.

Independent Lens (PBS): "The Marion Stokes Project" Marion Stokes recorded TV for 30 straight years creating a comprehensive archive of the media on 70,000 VHS tapes that are being digitized for future generations. (Finally someone with an enormous VHS collection who isn't labeled a hoarder for hording so many, many tapes!)

American Dad (TBS): TBD!

Barkskins (Nat Geo): In the second of tonight's two episodes we have "The Black Sun" where As Winter looms, wedding prep begins but Duquet makes a deal with Goames that could spell the Wobik's end. (I don't know what any of that means, but maybe I would if i binged it???)
