Duncanville (Fox, 8:30 p.m.): Annie feels underappreciated on Mother's Day and adopts Duncan's friend, who seems to care more about her than her own kids. Jack tries to make amends by finding a rare flower for Annie.
⭐ Dwight in Shining Armor (BYUtv, 8:30 p.m.): He's back! Sir Aldred, a centuries old evil wizard who wants to end Princess Gretta's bloodline, ambushes the court magician Baldric and witch Hexela and steals the most dangerous thing he could. This is surely going to bring the long-running Tovenar subplot into the main fold, which is introducing a more sinister evil. I don't expect big things from the show. It's uber-family-friendly (this is the conservative BYUtv after all, not some commercial network) and frequently aims for comic relief, but sometimes the mythology and cast chemistry (especially the leads Sloane Morgan Siegel and Caitlin Carmichael) really win me over. Dwight is the epitome of Generation Z -- in a good way. The show has also expanded scope this season, adding some school friends and recurring characters. Then again, the show hasn't quite hit the consistent highs that it did that first season. All episodes are available for free on the network's website.
Outlander (Starz, 8 p.m.): FINALE. Claire struggles to survive brutal treatment from her captors, as Jamie gathers a group of loyal men to help him rescue his wife. Roger and Brianna's journey takes a surprising turn. The show has already been renewed for a sixth season.
Renovate Like a Mother (HGTV, 8:30 p.m.): SPECIAL. Expectant mothers Jasmine Roth and Mina Starsiak Hawk prepare for their new additions and share their pregnancy stories, struggles and parenting advice.
The Simpsons (Fox, 8 p.m.): Lisa makes a new friend who loves horses, but then becomes part of a circle of snooty young rich girls. But are they Equestranauts? Homer takes Marge on a romantic cruise. Oh, that sounds great in May 2020.
Vice (Showtime, 8 p.m.): Today we follow front-line healthcare workers as they take on the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, and the nuclear legacy of the United States' atomic weapons testing in the Marshall Islands and the negative impacts on its people.
Wonder π₯ (Freeform, 8:40 p.m.): In this pretty good Academy Award-nominated movie, Auggie Pullman, who was bwith facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade.

The Last Dance (ESPN, 9 p.m.): As Michael Jordan pushes his teammates hard for a sixth NBA title, his intensity and hunger for basketball dominance is in stark contrast to his mindset in October 1993, when he stunned the world by walking away from the game. Later, Jordan would famously use even the smallest slight imaginable to motivate himself against an opponent.
