One of the people seeking the Sharks' investments tonight wants to start a fancy cheese operation!!! A FANCY CHEESE OPERATION!!!! It is suddenly feeling very much like a Shark Tank kinda night here cause I tells ya---A-Fancy Cheese A-Does A-Please! This Is What's On for Friday April 10th, Fancy Cheese, 2020
Streaming:
Before I get started I learned late last night that the first episode of Season 4 of The Good Fight actually started streaming on CBS All Access and I completely blew it. I thought it was starting next week, but episode 1 of the new season actually got put on the streaming service earlier this morning--sooo if you guys like Christine Baranki or Delroy Lindo--it looks like you are in luck!
Netflix has as usual a bunch of stuff---its got 2 new tv series'---one called "The Brews Brothers" (really???) which looks to be a raunchy sitcom about "Two rival brothers must work together to keep their brewery in business, but shenanigans keep leading to chaos which keeps threatening their fragile truce" (So its like Beerfest the Sitcom???) Starring Alan Aisenberg, Mike Castle, and Carmen Flood.
The 2nd series premiering here is "The Trial" which is an Italian language crime drama about "The murder of a teen girl links a public prosecutor to the victim, a lawyer with a career making case, and a suspect whom by all appearances seems legitimately innocent. (eyebrow raises)
Netflix has a couple of films premiering as well including "School Life" a French film about a school councilor devoting herself to working her her school's poorest students while facing challenges of her own. (That doesn't really tell you much but it does tell you the genre of this at least)
"Love, Wedding, Repeat"----Different versions of the same day unfold as Jack juggles difficult guests, unbridled chaos, and potential romance at his sister's wedding. Starring Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, and Freida Pinto
"The Main Event"-----Using special powers from a magical mask, a WWE fan (Oy) causes chaos when he enters the ring and fights an intimidating rival. Starring Seth Carr, Adam Pally, and Tichina Arnold. (nods) (Its Ready To Rumble meets The Mask!)
"Tiger Tail"----New Taiwan film focusing on a man reflecting on the lost love of his youth and his long ago journey from Taiwan to America to try and heal the estranged relationship with his daughter. Starring Tzi Ma (now that's a guy who's been in a lotttt of things over the decades), and Christine Ko
Meanwhile Amazon has the Oscar nominated French film of earlier this year Les Miserables (which has absolutely nothing to do with the famous musical of the same name--its a French cop film actually)
Disney Plus finally has a new episode of Star Wars The Clone Wars--episode 708 (that actually means 7th season, 8th episode, and Not episode seven hundred and eight)---"Together Again"
