What's On Tonight (Sunday): Teenagers... amirite?!

Duncanville (via Giphy)
Aloha! Tonight's Top Pick spot goes to Fox's latest Animation Domination series Duncanville. The series is about the teenager Duncan and his family, especially his mom, Annie, a Meter maid with big dreams. (Both are voiced by co-creator Amy Poehler.) The dad is a pack rat, the middle school-aged Kimberly is angsty, and the adopted Jing has a crush on Duncan. He also has some pretty weird friends. The show dials up its character traits up too often for me. Elsewhere, 60 Minutes has updates on COVID-19, Maggie Simpson goes to preschool, Nicholas Brody Damian Lewis profiles true-life spies, Zoey tells another person she sees musical numbers, Larry wraps his season, and Nixon and Archibald Cox battle as Slow Burn comes to the end of its Watergate tale. I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be, this what's on TV... for tonight, Sunday, March 22!

⭐ Duncanville (Fox, 8:30 p.m.): To celebrate their anniversary, Jack and Annie rekindle the passion of their youth by visiting an '80s-themed club. Jing makes Duncan "marry her," which sounds really disturbing considering how the show occasionally has leaned hard on Jing having a big crush on Duncan.
