What's On Tonight (Tuesday): The Flash Fights Gorilla Grodd Yet Again...Or Does He?

Hey Everybody!!!! (studio audience wildly applauds) We're gonna do a dance and goes it like this--Come On Lets See What's On TV---Like We Did Last Summer....Come On Lets See What's On TV--Like We Did Last Year...Do You Remember When....There Was So Much TV On...Yeah Lets See What's On TV....WOT Time Is Here!!!!!! (Thank you...Thank You) This is What's On for February 25th 2020.

Streaming:

Netflix has a new stand-up special from SNL's Pete Davidson. Its titled "Alive From New York" (I get it!) Supposedly it features a lot of morbid jokes which I hope is Pete's way of working some stuff out. Comedy can be therapy like in a way in that you can stand onstage and talk about stuff that bothers you in hopes of trying to better express the inexpressible, but you also have to keep in mind that you have to make it humorous as well which is waaaayyyy easier said than done. (It's Hard!!!!)

Broadcast:

CBS News Democratic Primary Debate (CBS): Pre-empting NCIS, FBI, and FBI's Most Wanted (so the entire three hour prime-time lineup in other words) (Grrrrrr) is the latest debate which is happening this time in Charleston South Carolina. Will Bloomberg be better this go round??? Will Biden gaffe? Will Pete and Amy go at it tooth and nail? Will Bernie be smiling more since he's actually in the lead by a pretty good margin now? Mercifully I won't be home to even be tempted to turn on the tv and find out for myself. (Thank Gods this is happening on a trivia night honestly! The thought of having to watch another hour of this was really unappealing, but if i were home, it'd be tempting to see if everyone still has their knives out for Bloomberg.) (Hey then Agent Gibbs could come in and solve the case!) ("Gear Up, We got a dead politician over in Charleston" "How is this a Navy Case???" "They didn't say, but they requested us specifically--Let's Go!!!!")

The Voice (NBC): Blind Auditions Part 2 (More candidates, more auditions, more backwards chairs!)

Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours To Hell and Back (FOX): Tonight we have two back to back episodes which are serving as this show's season finale since next week sees the return of Empire to the lineup. So the restaurants that Chef Ramsey will be trying to save tonight are Bear's Den Pizza in Conway Arkansas, and South Boulevard--which is a Korean restaurant located in Little Rock Arkansas. (nods)

The Conners (ABC): Dan starts to bond with his younger half brother but he can't get over the fact that their father paid for his brother's college education which is something he flat out refused to do for Dan; Jackie hits it off with a fun married couple. (I'm guessing this isn't gonna end well for her--Do things ever end well for Jackie on this show in all honesty???)

The Flash (The CW):Top Pick tonight goes to this show yet again-Amadeus I'm sorry but Gorilla Grodd!!!!!!!!!!! "Feeling overwhelmed with all the changes since Crisis, Barry conducts an experiment that goes awry and puts him directly in the path of Gorilla Grodd (!!!!!!!!); Iris works with Eva to escape the Mirrorverse. (The episode is titled....Wait for it...."Grodd Friended Me" CBS! CBS! CBS!) (Also as a fan of the Gorilla Grodd episodes of the show, I legit look forward to them when they pop up--He's the best villain the show has--I mean we could debate as to whether or not King Shark is the better villain, but when was the last time he was even on the show??? I rest my case!) (GRODD FRIENDED ME!!!!!!!!) (Well i mean Jesse Quick is a cast member on God Friended Me--and the show does share some exec producers...)

Finding Your Roots (PBS): Tonight Laura Linney, Lisa Ling, and Soledad O'Brien trace their ancestry to tricksters, scoundrels, and criminals. (That's Not Heartwarming!) (That's Not Heartwarming At All!)

Marrying Mr. Darcy (Hallmark): Elizabeth is a down to earth high school teacher and Donovan is an upper crust New York businessman who get engaged despite being so different, and well their trip to the altar and down the aisle is apparently prone to mishaps. (shrugs) Starring Billy Bob Thorton and Courtney Love --No I'm kidding, I was trying to think of the two most unlikely people to play these parts. (It stars Ryan Paevey, Cindy Busby, and ooh Francis Fisher--someone i've actually heard of!)

8:30

Bless This Mess (ABC): Jacob must figure out what his true passions are; Rio takes driving lessons from Kay, but their friendship hits a bump in the road when Kay learns that Rio has secretly been getting lessons from other people. (Rio--How Could You?!?!?!?) (The episode is titled "Volsung and the bell boy") (Is that a type of car?) (No Goolge says its a reference to Norse mythology--that's weird right???)

9:00

This Is Us (NBC): Kevin spends the day with Rebecca; Toby makes a grand gesture; The Big Three get their report cards. (I wonder which of these three plotlines will try to tug at my heartstrings--ALL of them???? No Waaaay!!!)

Mixed-ish (ABC): The Johnsons welcome an African American family newly moved into their mostly white neighborhood (CBS!); Santamonica doesn't get along with the new neighbor's daughter, until she shows some Santamonica attitude. (The episode is called "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye") (Also Santamonica Attutide??? Why that just means that "They can live besides the ocean...leave the crowd behind, swim out past the breakers, watch the world die")

Legends of Tomorrow (The CW): With Sara still away from the Waverider, (that's their ship!) the Legends find a new Encore (?) with Ava's new invention, The Prognosticator (!) and must try to defeat Genghis Khan who's somehow ended up in Hong Kong in the 1990s. (Maybe he just wants to be in the movies!); Constantine's life hangs in the balance. (Doesn't it always tho? I mean really) The episode is titled "Mortal Khanbat" which I definitely approve of (Insert Thumbs Up Gif Here)

American Masters (PBS): Miles Davis--Birth of the Cool.  The life of the jazz great is profiled and several people who knew him are interviewed. Narrated by Carl Lumbly. (MANTIS Himself!!!)

Schitt's Creek (Pop): Johnny and Moira spend a night at the Presidential suite in the town's new motel, while Alexis receives a surprise visitor. (That surprise visitor? That's right you guessed it...Frank Stallone!) (Some jokes never get old!)

Curse of Oak Island (History): New evidence suggests that Fred Nolan's theory that a ship was buried in the swamp long ago might be true. (I would swear that I had typed up this very synopsis for this show in the past)

Chopped (Food): "Give It A Nest!" Contestants cook up an edible birds' nest and apparently tri tip is involved. (shrugs)

Moonshiners (Discovery): So Much Moonshine..You're gonna be sick of it--you're gonna say Mr. President---We have so much moonshine, we can't take it anymore--and I'll say Too Bad--We're gonna keep making that moonshine! (nods)

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): A department store sends Gomer a baby carriage and he has to spend an entire day trying to return the dang thing. (Oh I Know For A Fact That I've Typed This One Up Before!)

9:30

Black-ish (ABC): Jack joins the robotics club to Dre's dismay; Ruby embellishes a story for Diane's school project.  (I feel like this needs a third storyline--anyone mind if i just randomly make one up???? When Pops nearly gets into a fistfight with a kangaroo, its up to Junior to talk him out of it) (I'd totally watch Laurence Fishburne fight a kangaroo!!!!)

Green Acres (MeTV): Oliver composes a folk song about a ghost named Molly Turgiss. (This episode sounds familiar too actually!)

10:00

New Amsterdam (NBC): When tasked with turning the opioid epidemic around (what???), Max shuts down the ED and proposes a massive change; Sharpe goes to great lengths to prove a point. (Wait has Dr. Amsterdam been made like the new Chief of Surgery of Secretary of Health and Human Services??? Why is it up to him to single handedly turn around the national crisis here???) (Also New Amsterdam--You've become much too much!!!!)

For Life (ABC): Aaron makes a strategic decision to get the police file while DA Maskus and ADA O'Reilly close in on proof of Aaron's malfeasance during Jake Rodrigues' trial. Also they try targeting Marie as a way to get to Aaron. (I guess in case that proof they're trying to close in on doesn't pan out--which I can't imagine it will since Aaron is like the hero of the show)

Project Blue Book (History): While reminiscing on the set of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (Whoa!), Hynek recounts his experiences with the infamous Robertson Panel and the eccentric alien contactee for whom he put everything on the line to help.  (Who could forget when that happened right???)

Hot Ones--The Game Show (Tru TV): Battle of the sexes ignites as 2 teams duke it out against Chef Willie's demonic sauces! (Mwahaha)

Guardians of the Glades (Discovery): With winter approaching (approaching???) the pythons all burrow underground causing Dusty to also have to burrow on after them. (To think like a snake, you must act like a snake!) (But why???)

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (HBO): The 60 Minutes of Sports Continues!!!! (that's my way of saying i couldn't find what the stories being reported on tonight were--I googled for it tho!)

10:30

Miracle Workers (TBS): And Lastly Tonight We Got This Medieval Set Show with "Al and Prince Chauncley struggle to deal with their families over the holidays." (Don't we all Al and Prince Chauncley--Don't we all???)

THAT"S ALL I GOT FOR THE NIGHT....WATCH/DON'T WATCH...JUST SEE IF I CARE!!! (ACTUALLY I DO CARE--GORILLA GRODD IS BACK TONIGHT YOU GUYS!!! GORILLA GRODD!!! I MEAN ITS GORILLA GRODD!!!! I GOTTA SIT DOWN!!!!)
