Hello One and All...here is what's on for February 20th 2020 (2/20/20??? ooh that could also be 02/20/20--i don't know where i'm going with this either!)
Streaming:
Picard (CBS ALL ACCESS): I'm going with this for Top Pick because I both have inexplicably missed listing it the past 2 weeks, and also the synopsis for tonight has Picard mourning the loss of someone very important to him and indeed The Next Generation as a whole--and I can't believe the synopsis gives a major spoiler away like that--even if it technically happened on last week's episode!!!
Broadcast:
8:00
Young Sheldon (CBS): Sheldon visits the Cal Tech campus for the very first time; Georgie is upset when his mom listens in on a phone call with his girlfriend; Meemaw tries to cheer up a jealous Missy. (I'm guessing Missy is jealous of Sheldon visiting a college campus and not of her other brother having his phone call evesdropped on, cause that would be a weird thing to be jealous of!)
Superstore (NBC): Cloud 9 employees experience unforseen problems with the new Zephra app; Dina's texts lead to animosity; Glenn struggles to deal with a new teen craze; Jonah attempts to prank Garrett to teach him a lesson. (Garrett doesn't really do lessons to be honest, also Glenn struggles with a new teen craze?!?!?!? I'm actually intrigued by this idea for a plotline)
Last Man Standing (FOX):As Mike's offer to help Jen with her school's bake sale goes up in smoke, Mike must somehow find a way to make back the purloined baked goods; Kyle finds unlikely advice from Joe on where he should enroll in college. (The episode is titled "Baked Sale" and reminds me that Mike's dad used to own and operate a pot dispensary)
Station 19 (ABC): In an effort to increase morale, Maya takes the team on a team building camping trip that doesn't go according to plan (well what does???); the crew works to save some first time campers after a bear attack; Pruitt takes baby steps to repair his relationship with Will and Andy. (Baby Steps To the Elevator...)
Katy Keene (The CW): With everything a little off between Katy and KO, Katy tries to make everything perfect for Valentine's Day, Ko tries to do something nice for the roommates, but only seems to make things worse; Pepper turns to an old friend to get some quick cash. (Nods)
Grown-ish (Freeform): Aaron's student loan troubles comes to a head when he looks for a job at the Cal U job fair, prompting him to ask Zoey for help; Sky st5ruggles to come to terms with her recent discovery about Rodney; Jillian tries to bond with Zoey.
Like Cats and Dogs (Hallmark): This too cute titled Hallmark Movie of the Night features "A cat person and a dog person accidentally booking the same vacation house" Starring Cassidy Gifford and Wyatt Nash. (This is followed at 10 by a movie called "Love At First Bark" which man what a title!)
8:30
The Unicorn (CBS): When Wade lands a job for Denny who is a newly divorced and wealthy client, he realizes that Deny is only interested in using him to meet women; Meg applies her expertise as an accountant to get Wade's finances in order. (CBS? CBS? CBS?)
Brooklyn 9-9 (NBC): The Jimmy Jab Games 2 (!!!!) Competitive juices are flowing as Jake and the squad compete in those games once again. (I kinda remember this???)
Outmatched (FOX): When Nicole invites a boy over who isn't boyfriend material, Kay tries to make sure her daughter's heart isn't broken and Mike attempts to understand Marc's strange new crush. (Why does seemingly every episode of this revolve around their underage kids' horomones???) (and i just realized how much that applies to pretty much most tv shows! A-Why Hello Dawson's Creek!)
Everything's Gonna Be OK (Freeform): Matilda's whole life hindges between success and obscurity on the most important night of her life; Nic jugles a house fell of people; and Remy visits on a screen from a hospital bed in Australia. (The episode is titled "Blue Death Feigning Beetles" which huh?)
9:00
Mom (CBS): Bonnie helps Christy gain some perspective as she considers a life changing decision; Jill fears she's running out of time to have a baby and consults a fertility doctor. (The episode is titled "Judy Garland and a sexy troll doll" which somehow makes more sense)
Will and Grace (NBC): Grace and her neighbor James try to give their relationship one more shot but when James invites Grace to his job at the aquarium, she endangers both it and an entire species; Jack takes Will to an unexpected place to blow off some steam--a church! (The episode is called "Accidentally On Purpoise" Hahahaha)
Deputy (FOX): When an ex marine turns up dead, Bill helps Cade work the case that hits far too close to him; with other candidates waiting in the wings to take Bill's place as sheriff, the dept pressures him to be more of a team player. (Well the show isn't called "Sheriff" right???)
Grey's Anatomy (ABC): DeLuca is irritated after Meredith takes on his patient whose symptoms continue to stump the doctors; Jackson, Owen, and Jo work on a couple who were injured in a bear attack (gotta be the same couple from Station 19); Lennis hurt when Nico doesn't want him to meet his parents. (nods)
Dogs of the Year (The CW): Ridiculous special from 2019 is rerun here in place of a rerun of "Legacies" (Awww)
Project Runway (Bravo): Designers are paired with real athletes who are competing to be in the 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the designers need to make their dream outfir for a victory night celebration. ("Olympic Game Plan" is the title of the ep)
The Bold Type (Freeform): Jane's story on millennial weddings comes to a halt when she uncovers a secret about Jacqueline; Sutton helps Carly take on her school uniform policy without running it by Oliver; Kat finds uncomplicated dating more complicated than she thought. (The episode is titled "Tearing Down the Donut Wall")
Wife Swap (Paramount): A by the book teacher swaps with a conspiracy obsessed home schooler who is also a flat earther. (Ruh-Roh)
Restaurant Impossible (Food): The Baclony in Larose Louisiana is one of the oldest cajun seafood restaurants on the bayou.
Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Carter and Gomer are supposed to be watching Col Bray's dog for the weekend but the dog escapes. (Golly Sgt. Garter!!!)
9:30
Carol's Second Act (CBS): After Carol's patient's transplant is successful (which happened at the end of last week's episode), the interns tease her mercilessly about her crush on the surgeon. (Awwww)
Indebted (NBC): After Rebecca tells Dave that she thinks she carries the emotional weight of their marriage, he goes out of his way to prove otherwise (sigh) so he tries to take care of Deb and Stew but their both a lot to handle. (So who learns a lesson here exactly??? Dave I guess, but Rebecca doesn't come off so well here either honestly)
Green Acres (MeTV): Back by popular request is the description for this show which tonight feautres Arnold the pig going to Oliver's college reunion for some reason!
10:00
Tommy (CBS): A Hollywood producer is attacked during a party at his home by a woman who claims he tried to sexually assault her; Tommy prepares for the LAPD re-certification exam in order to demonstrate her fitness for the position she finds herself in. (This sounds more like the description for an episode of SVU honestly)
Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): The female CEO of a popular wellness company says she was raped but her business partner claims the accusation is part of an embezzlement cover up. (Hmmmm)
A Million Little Things (ABC): Delilah learns to navigate Danny's first sleepover; Rome and Regina continue to protect their potential birth mom from her dangerous past; Maggie leans on a friend for support as she goes to her six month cancer checkup. (Ohh you Million Little Things characters!!!)
The Sinner (USA): Moving up an hour to the 10 o'clock spot this show has its third episode of the season here with "Ambrose investigates Jamie's past, while Leela gives birth, and Jamie's anxiety reaches a breaking point" (Normal timeslot occupant Briarpatch is apparently going over to Monday nights?? but a rerun of last week's episode seems to be scheduled to air at 11 o'clock tonight as well so maybe they'll just keep running episodes at 11 here in subsequent weeks as well???)
Impractical Jokers (Tru TV): And finally for the night we have this long running show with the guys all find scandalous diary entries written by their daughters, then break up with significant others in front of baffled onlookers; the loser finds himself in hot water and on shaky ground while working as waiters. (The guys have daughters?!?!?!?)
HAVE A GREAT THURSDAY EVERYONE!!!!!
