What's On Tonight (Sunday): On game day, the outsiders watch The Outsider

HAPPY GRANDIOSE SPORTSBALLZ DAY! But that is not the top pick. Because millions in America decides to watch a sporting event, most networks sit out this day. The two consistent regulars that duke it out with football: PBS and HBO. So this week HBO's murder mystery limited series The Outsider, based on a novel by Stephen King, gets the spotlight. It stars Ben Mendelsohn and the first episodes were directed by other star Jason Bateman. I still haven't watched more than 15 minutes. Don't give me that look! I've been busy! It's on my list. Elsewhere, and importantly, puppies and kitties, who are also up for adoption, are back to fight trophies, the TARDIS crew scatters across the world, conflict ends at Howards End, a guy shows off his love of The Twilight Zone, and Larry get annoyed, probably. 69 is divine! 69 is divine! 69 is divine! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, February 2!

Super Bowl LIV (Fox, 6:30 p.m.): I don't know who this Liv person is, but she will have her hands full when a bunch of gold diggers and Native American leaders fight. But fear not, at 5 p.m., there will be a live thread to discuss how terrible the coaches and referees are and to debate the quality of the corporate propaganda meant to trigger our feelings and stroke our societal desire to consume — while also feel okay about the big businesses that have a lock on many sectors of the marketplace.✔️
