This Weekend in Pop Culture: February 21-23

Welcome to the Weekend in Pop Culture! Let's examine what's coming out in theaters this weekend...

Wide
Brahms: The Boy II
A biopic of Romantic classical composer Johannes Brahms as a young boy... is what I wish this was. Instead, it's a creepy-doll movie that's been delayed endlessly, always a good sign.

The Call of the Wild
A distracting CGI dog fights for survival in the Yukon along with his non-CGI owner.

Limited
Emma.
A young woman meddles in the affairs of her friends and family. Based on the classic novel, as well as on "Clueless."

Las Pildoras De Mi Novio (My Boyfriend’s Meds)
A couple goes on vacation, but accidentally leaves behind the male half’s medications. Strangely, this is listed as a comedy, but speaking as someone on meds, this premise sounds utterly terrifying.

So what have you been up to in pop culture? And what do you plan to get up to soon?
