What's On Tonight (Tuesday): Arrow Arrows Its Last Arrow

Hello and welcome to WOT on this solemn day of Arrow's Arrowing. Arrow Arrows Arrowly in the Arrow of Arrow's finale. Arrow Arrows His Arrows Are Arrows, but Arrows Arrows Aromatically. (Arrow) This is What's On for January 28th, 2020 (or in Arrow speak--Arrow Arrow Arrowth Arrow Arrow. (ARROW!!!!)
8:00

NCIS (CBS): After Torres and Bishop are victims of a hit and run, Torres fights for his life in the ICU. (That's a rather unexpected plot synopsis for this show to have.)

Ellen's Game of Games (NBC): "Another One Bites the Crust" (Hey...Gonna Get You Too....)

The Resident (FOX): Cain feels disrespected by Logan Kim when he is left out of a major decision regarding Conrad; The doctors work together to try and save the lives of 2 big Red Rock donors who were involved in a jet skiing accident. (Logan Kim is a dick who was made CEO of the hospital over former chief Bruce Greenwood--Kim's not even a doctor and Cain arrogantly thought that because of Kim's lack of a medical degree that meant that Cain could boss him around but at the end of the day Kim is still head honcho...for now! Dun dun dunnn)

The Conners (ABC): Becky things that Jackie's new friend, a restaurant supplier is taking advantage of them; Darlene is thrilled when Harris gets into Central Illinois State University, but Harris might have found an even better offer; Dan finds himself in an embarrassing situation. (Can they afford to send Harris to college??? Every other episode seems to revolve around them not being able to afford something that they kinda need)

Arrow (The CW): This is actually a retrospective before the big finale at 9. "Hitting the Bullseye" interviews with the cast and exec producers looking back at the show's 8 year run.

Finding Your Roots (PBS): Tonight Sigourney Weaver, Justina Machado, and Amy Ryan all trace their ancestry. (That's a good trio!)

Dater's Handbook (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Movie of the Night is this one where "After reading a book about dating and changing her personality to find a lover, a woman realizes the man she wants is right in front of her" Starring Megan Markle (!!!!!!!), and Kristoffer Polaha (This movie was made in 2016 for the record)

8:30

Bless This Mess (ABC): Rio is bummed when she can't afford to go to Iceland for her best friend's wedding, so she volunteers to bring the nuptials to the farm; Rip is also forced to take on Deb's mail route after Deb quits abruptly; and Mike and Jacob try and help Rudy get over Constance. (Awww I didn't know he and her broke up! I thought Ed Begley Jr and Pam Grier made a cute if unlikely couple honestly) (Also Rio wants her friend to give up having a wedding in Iceland to have it on a farm in the middle of Nebraska??? I wonder how that conversation is gonna play out)

9:00

FBI (CBS): When an attorney is found dead very close to the body of a private escort, the team must piece together what connections the 2 victims have to one another;  Jubal has an unexpected personal connection to one of the two victims.(Of course he does! This wouldn't be FBI if there wasn't some sort of personal attachment!)

This Is Us (NBC): Part 2 of "A Hell Of A Week" (Again there was no synopsis provided on the cable guide but i'm gonna guess all kinds of things happen both in the present, and in the past!)

Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours To Hell and Back (FOX): Transforming Botto's Italian Line Restaurant in Swedesboro New Jersey. (Sure Why Not???)

Mixed-ish (ABC): Paul is shocked to hear from his long estranged mother who would like to be a part of Rainbow's 13th birthday; meanwhile Rainbow views her upcoming birthday as a major milestone and would like a huge party to mark it. (So like a bat-mitzvah then??? Mazel Tov Rainbow! Today You Are A Man!)

Arrow (The CW):  "Fadeout" is the title of the finale--and there's not much of a synopsis provided ("The story of the Green Arrow comes to an end") but it is the finale of an 8 year journey, and I honestly have no idea how they can even do a finale without um well no spoilers but the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths would kinda make doing a finale somewhat tricky right??? Whatever happens I'll miss you Green Arrow--you were sometimes quite excellent, and sometimes a little trying, but you were always up to something and usually moving at a pretty good pace! God Speed!

American Experience (PBS): Tonight we got a 2 hour episode of this called "The Poison Squad" Dr. Harvey Wiley takes on the food manufacturers to try and banish dangerous substances threatening the health of consumers; He lays the groundwork for new U.S. consumper protection laws and ultimately the creation of the FDA. (ooh! I've heard of them!!!)

Schitt's Creek (Pop): Finally I remember to include this show in the Tuesday listings as tonight Moira shares the newly released Crows movie trailer with the Jazzagals; Johnny and Roland find a suspicious looking bag left alone at the new motel. (It could be anything in that bag!!!!)

Curse of Oak Island (History): With a hurricane approaching the team scrambles to find evidence of what might be buried beneath the swamp before the storm can wipe out the efforts they have made thus far. (Here Comes The Story Of The Hurricane...Ba-Da-Ba-Da-Ba-Da-Da Hurricane)

Moonshiners (Discovery): Mark and Differ attempt to rescue a former apprentice of theirs from a calamity; An unknown competitor hacks Mike's fort forcing him to change up his strategy. (of making Moonshine???) (How do you hack moonshine? OHMYGOD its Team Scorpion!!!) ("This moonshine's network security is terrible!")

Life Below Zero (Nat Geo)

Chopped (Food): $50,000 Challenge Part 2!!!!!!

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Gomer is panic stricken when he discovers that his face will be on the Marine recruitment posters and not Sgt. Carter as thought.  (SHAZAM???)

9:30

Black-ish (ABC):  Dre worries that Diane and Jack don't know how to fend for themselves and sends them out on an adventure together; Junior gets into a tricky situation at work when he befriends Josh in hopes of seeing a positive peer review. (Uh-Oh he's trying to befriend his boss; that can't possibly work out well for him, also why is Dre worrying about Diane and Jack--i mean basically that's what college is gonna be for right?)

10:00

FBI's Most Wanted (CBS): Barnes goes on a dangerous mission involving an ambitious gang leader who is plotting turf wars and massacres across the Bronx in a bid for more power. (Not to knock the Bronx which is where my mom and grandpa were both born and raised, but if you want real power as a gang leader, the Bronx might not be the place to really obtain it, although it I'm sure is a good starting point. Of course its not like i know what the heck i'm talking about)

New Amsterdam (NBC): Sharpe has an imprtant realization that will affect her career; New Amsterdam and Reynolds take on uncharted waters when a young patient comes to New Amsterdam with symptoms of a heart attack, but might not actually be a heart attack. (ooh, my brother in law last April had a heart attack that was actually stress mimicking the signs of a heart attack...maybe its that New Amsterdam. Of course its not like i know what the heck i'm talking about here either)

Emergence (ABC): The Season Finale of this show airs tonight as well with "Killshot Part 2" with "Jo and Brooks are in danger and Piper is determined to help them; With Helen's mysterious plan nearly realized, Piper recruits an unexpected team of allies to find them before its too late" (Hmm an unexpected team of allies eyyy??? So clearly Donald Fasion, and Clancy Brown naturally, um probably Allison Tollman's assistant as well, who else does that leave? Oh the guy from The Mentalist right???)

Project Blue Book (History): Roswell Incident Part 2 (PART 2!!!!)

Port Protection (Nat Geo): Season 2 of this reality show premieres with "the men and women of Port Protection must survive on a remote island in Alaska" (shrugs) ooook

Guardians of the Glades (Discovery): Dusty treks out to an abandoned housing development where pythons are eating wildlife; (well no wonder its abandoned, its been taken over by Pythons): Dusty injures his foot coming back and finds himself face to face with a killer snake. (They're ALL killer snakes on this show tho!)

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (HBO): This show returns for its 26th season (!!!!) with a look at Japan's preparations for the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics. (nods)

10:30

Miracle Workers (TBS): Miraculously returning for a 2nd season, this show reboots itself no that its no longer about God, angels, or the otherworldly. Instead its about a bunch of people working in the Dark Ages (Indeed the show is now subtitled---"Dark Ages: Gradation") The title may be different but the cast is the same including one Steve Buscemi (ooh!!!) and Daniel Radcliffe (ahhh!!!!)   In tonight's installment "Al pursues her educatuion, and Prince Chancley tries to live up to his father's expectations."

THAT"S IT FOR ME FOR TONIGHT---HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY AND REMEMBER ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW ARROW! (nods) (gets hit by Arrow) (HEY WHO
