Champagne Punch
(And by 'Champagne' I mean 'sparkling wine,' because you do not waste even mid-level Champagne on a punch. No one will notice that's not White Star.)
A signature libation is a must on my menus and there's no better staple than a punch that serves up a serious kick. It's easy to make and easy to rename depending on the teams.
Ingredients
1 pint of raspberry sherbet
2 bottles of faux Champagne (aka sparkling wine)
1 bottle of red wine
1/2 cup Chambord
Simply layer the ingredients in your punch bowl in the above order and stir. Voilà: The Frothing 49er. Salut.

Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms: Most retailers offer a pre-made option, either in service deli or the frozen section. Trader Joe's has a version that is quite good.
Spanakopita: One you can make, if you're really dedicated, or look for in the frozen section.
Mini Crab Cakes: I don't personally care for these but they are always a big hit.
Sushi Platter: Probably depends on how many guests you are expecting but the proliferation of in-store fresh sushi makes this an easy and not cost-prohibitive addition. In my experience, this is always the first platter to empty.
Quesadillas: Simple to make or buy prepared.

Regardless of if your team wins or loses, you want the evening to end on a sweet note for everyone. A simple arrangement of petit fours suffices and spares you the messiness and storage of a cake. Alternatively, an assortment of chocolate truffles - or small individualized gift bags with an individually wrapped assortment - is a good substitute.
For a fruitier option: Mixed Berry Dump Cake.
