What's On Tonight (Monday): A Rerun Of Bull Finds Him Having Jury Duty

Hello everyone, there is nothing on tonight but reruns and broadcasts of movies! Sorry...End of year blues I guess???

Netflix has the 3rd season premiere of teenage girls navigating high school sitcom Alexa and Katie. (If you've ever wondered where Tiffini Amber Thiessen is these days--she's one of the title duo's moms here!) (Also while i never heard of this show before tonight, apparently its a multi-cam!)

8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): In this rerun from last year--Cedric reluctantly invites Dave to join his regular poker night. Dave gets very excited by this. (That checks out character wise!)

Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways (NBC): Rerun

9-1-1 (FOX): Rerun

Spiderman-Homecoming (ABC): Tom Holland starring Spiderman film of 2017 comes to broadcast tv! Marissa Tomei plays Aunt May.

IHeartRadio (The CW): More filler concert special

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): The "Antiques" crew goes to St. Louis and sees a 1602 Adams Islip published book of Chaucer's complete works.

Orange Bowl (ESPN): Florida Gators Vs Virginia Cavaliers

Her Smell (HBO): Cable premiere of this year's Elizabeth Moss is a deeply unpleasant rock singer movie.

Pavarotti (Showtime): Cable premiere of this year's documentary about the great opera singer.  (I love it when there's symmetry like this)

8:30

Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS): Rerun of the episode where Bob and his two siblings struggle to care for Dottie after her stroke despite Abishola's professional help, they still don't feel quite up to the challenge.

9:00

All Rise (CBS): One of Judge Lola's former cases as a lawyer gets appealed and of course Judge Lola has to be impartial about it as her former nemesis at the DA's office tries to find evidence that the person Judge Lola helped put away was actually innocent, and Judge Lola starts to question whether or not she did in fact prosecute an innocent man. Of course this being CBS, we soon find out that she didn't really...or did she??? (The suspense is not very strong on this one)

Manifest (NBC): Before next week's return of the show for season 2---tonight NBC offers up both the pilot episode and the last episode that aired back to back. The pilot was pretty good, but sooooo much happened between that and the last episode of the season that i don't understand how people who have never seen the show before are supposed to be able to comprehend the turn of events.

Prodigal Son (FOX): Rerun

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): St. Louis Part Two has a 1927 Rockwood Shiraayamadani  black opal vase

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Gomer gets a puppy for his girlfriend and then finds himself battling it for her affection. (Or is it the other way around???)

Chopped Sweets (Food): Premiere of a spinoff of Chopped finds contestants having to make things out of candy (or something like that???)
9:30

Green Acres (MeTV): Eb accidentally finds himself taking a mail order class in acting. (Sure i'll roll with that as a plot line!)

10:00

Bull (CBS): In this rerun from last season our titular character is forced to finally get a taste of his own medicine by being court ordered to serve on a jury himself. (No more excuses Mr!)  Oscar winner Mercedes Ruehl plays the judge who orders him to do so! But see the thing is, Bull has a case that's being prosecuted in the courtroom next door to the one he's asked to sit on the jury of--Can Bull be in two places at the same time??? Will he be a zealous juror??? Will he be a thorn in the side of our gust star judge??? I think we all know the answer!

POV (PBS): "Midnight Traveler"--Self made documentary about Hassan Fazili whom along with his wife and two daughters try and flee Afghanistan and seek asylum here in the U.S. (where if he is successful in doing so, I suspect that one day he too could one day serve on a jury presided over by guest star Mercedes Ruehl!) This documentary actually won a jury prize at Sundance last January so its supposed to be pretty good and given that it was directed by its very subject, probably pretty close to getting at the heart of what its like to be an asylum seeker I'm guessing?

I TOLD YOU THAT THERE WASN'T MUCH ON TONIGHT RIGHT???
