Welcome to night one of five(?) of our Crisis on Infinite Earths discussion!

This discussion is a tryout. Given that enough of the commentariat watch and discuss the Arrowverse, I wanted to see if a special space was called for.

Need a Recap?

"Holy crimson skies of death!"

As skies turn red on various Earths, we see: Alexander Knox in Gotham, Hawk and Robin in San Francisco, The Ray, and an older Dick Grayson-type. Then street preacher Will Wheaton is saved from Spike by Supergirl.

And we're off! Worldwide earthquakes are a result of the anti-matter wave as J'onn reveals he has been tested by The Monitor as a preparation for "this." Kara attempts to warn Argo City of its doom.

Harbinger (not Lyla) recruits Oliver & Mia, Barry, Kate, Sara & Ray, Kara, and... Clark & Lois, gathering them on Earth-38. In a briefing room, she updates those as to why they are there. Kate doesn't warm up to her.

Super kids: Year one

Lois, Sara and Brainy go to Earth-16 in 2046 to retrieve Clark and Lois' son, Jonathan, who was jettisoned from Argo and then hurdled through a wormhole. They find an older Oliver and he and Sara have a bizarre reunion.

Speaking of kids, Mia gets her own Arrow suit. She will take her father's mantle. Oh, and Kara gave Clark a sappy pep talk about hope.

A serious tower on serious earth

The appearance of a quantum tower will protect the planet from the anti-monitor wave but invites attacks from the Anti-Monitors forces. Fortifying the tower, the team faces... dementors? Oh, Shadow demons. Same thing.

To get the billions of people on Earth out of harms way, alien ships are easily recruited, but getting them out of harms way requires help from Lena with a massive escape portal. She will help because this is for the stake of the planet. She is definitely not friends with Alex.

The escape portal done, but the tower won't hold. The team fights shadow demons, but the battle is lost. Oliver refuses to leave until his own downfall. He dies from his injuries. Mia is sad.

Earlier, Oliver wasn't happy at the prospect that Barry and Kara will die, so he chats with the Monitor. It's all about balance, but...

Billions are saved yet Oliver dies. This is not the ending The Monitor foresaw. Things are turning out differently. Pariah (once Harrison Nash Wells) says everything is doomed.

I loved the Pariah costuming. It's still early, but who is shipping who?
