What's On Tonight (Thursday): A Million Little Things Celebrates Lil' Theo's 10th Birthday!

Hello and Welcome To WOT for Thursday November 7th 2019.

Do you guys know how to get rid of spider crickets??? They keep showing up here in my basement and you know i deal with them as i see em but just now i sat down to write this and i saw two of them side by side like they were together! (I mean I'm glad somebody's getting lucky down here, but does it have to be an insect???) They both hopped away right quick before i could squash em so they're both still on the lose!!! (shudders) I don't want them jumping on me in the middle of the night damnit!!!! That happy thought aside

8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): A church carnival leads Missy to try out for the baseball team; Meemaw struggles after her breakup with Dr. Sturgis. (I think Missy would be a good fit for the baseball team; when i think about the girls who made up the female softball team in my high school, they would all seem to align with Missy's personality from what I can remember of them)

Superstore (NBC): Amy, Jonah, and Glenn hatch a plan to make Amy look like a tough boss after she loses face in front of the district manager; Dina recruits Mateo to help her run Cloud 9 shoplifter rehabilitation program with a few of Dina's personal tweaks. (Does Dina ever not make tweaks to things to suit her love of being a strongman???)

Thursday Night Football (FOX): LA Chargers vs Oakland Raiders

Grey's Anatomy (ABC): Catherine is back in town and has no idea what's been going on between Jackson and Maggie; Owen and Amelia treat a woman who fell in the basement and quietly finds that there is more to the story; Maggie is schocked after meeting Richard's relatives.

Supernatural (The CW): Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious death of a girl and the disappearance of another in an episode titled "Atomic Monsters" (I wanna guess that the monsters are actually dipped in hot sauce)

Merry and Bright (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the Night is this one where Jody Sweetin plays a candy cane company owner named Cate who meets a man during the busy Christmas Holiday Season. (Ok)

8:30

The Unicorn (CBS): When Wade visits a local hot spot to meet people instead of using the dating app; Forrest and Ben decide to help him out by tagging along. (How could that possibly end in anything but success????)

Perfect Harmony (NBC): After Pastor Magnus invites the 2nd First Choir to perform at the church of Perpetual Praise, Arthur resolves to sound better than ever to spite him; Ginny spirals out when Arthur adds a new singer from her past to the choir. (How could that possibly end in anything but success????)

9:00

Mom (CBS): Christy tries to embrace positivity after having a meltdown; Bonnie gets a glimpse of what Adam was like before his accident. (I wanna guess the exact same, except he could walk and run and do crazy things because he was a stuntman who did crazy things)

The Good Place (NBC): On the last day of the experiment, Chidi is faced with one more ethical dilemma to overcome. (One more dilemma to overcome....One more dilemma to save humanity...One more dilemma left to slay....One dilemma more Tedddddd Daaannnnsonnnn!!! One Dilemma More...) (Bows)

A Million Little Things (ABC): The gang gathers for Theo's 10th birthday (Theeeeeeeoohhhhh) which is also a significant milestone for Eddie; Eddie, Delilah, and Katherine are at an impasse about revealing the truth about Charlie; Rome and Regina try to keep Sophie from getting too close to PJ.  (Shakes head---Oh those Million Little Things Characters---Always Doin' A Million Little Things)

Legacies (The CW): When a samurai shows up looking for a demon that possesses its victims, Josie leads the charge to defend her friends from the demon's wrath; MG is conflicted by a secret he's uncovered about Lizzie's new vampire friend Sebastian.  (oooh a samurai!!!! hey has there ever been a movie about a vampire samurai before?!?!?!? I feel like someone should get on that!)

Naked and Afraid (Discovery): An endurance athlete who is a self proclaimed "king of the forest" (sooo stupid then yes?) tackles the backwoods of Alabama, a trucker and a stay at home mom join forces to survive in The Phillippines; and 2 survivalists fight the cold for 21 days in the Himalayan Foothills.

9:30

Carol's Second Act (CBS): The hospital is abuzz when Carol is assigned to care for a star college football player who has a broken rib; Sparks continue to fly between Jenny and Daniel. (Sparks flying between two supporting characters on a sitcom?!?!?!? Why I never....)

Will and Grace (NBC): Will discovers a way to finally get back at Jack for years of mocking his hairline; Grace is determined to prove to Mrs. Timmer that she is strong enough to handle being a single mother; Karen squares off against Stan's brother in a poker game.  (I gotta ask, have we seen Stan's brother on the show before???)

Green Acres (MeTV): Oliver attempts to run his visiting mother in law out of the house in "Everybody Tries To Love A Countess"  (I'm now envisioning Oliver Queen in a random episode of Arrow trying to run his mother in law out of the house---I could see it--his mother in law for a while was Sipowitcz's wife during later seasons of NYPD Blue)

10:00

Evil (CBS): When Kristen, David, and Ben are asked to assess the veracity of a local prophetess, they are shaken when they see one of her visions coming to life; David struggles with jealousy when he sees God speaking with the prophetess. (?!?!?!?!?) (Is God a thing on this show??? And also would God be into the idea of doing a cross-over episode with God Friended Me--which also shoots in NYC AND also airs on CBS--Man how amazing would that be??? CBS Make This Unlikely Cross-Over Event Happen Post Haste!!!)

Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): The SVU team joins an undercover task force in busting a human trafficking ring.  (So i'm gonna guess that one of them--most likely Benson--ends up getting in hot water by taking a vested personal interest in the case, and ends up getting in trouble but also ends up cracking the case and getting the goods and takes them down somehow)

How To Get Away With Murder (ABC): Gabriel is first chair on a case defending a teacher involved in a school shooting; Annalise attempts to discourage Tegan from her new quest to right a wrong; Oliver makes a shocking confession. (That shocking confession??? That he's the masked vigilante known as The Green Arrow of course!) (I just realized if that were to actually be a part of this show, you know Annalise would have to represent him on trial and I'd watch that!!!)

Mr. In-Between (FX): When exiting a department store, one shouldn't leave with less than what one came in with in "Socks Are Important" (Yeah Socks Are Important--they keep your feet from gettin' blistered should you walk more than a couple of blocks!!! Yeah Socks!!! What Up Socks??? Hashtag Socks Rock) (what kind of music do you think "Sock Rock" would consist of if "Sock Rock" was a thing anyways???)

Conan Without Borders (TBS): Tonight the funnyman visits Ghana in this hour long travel special that the show does every so often. With him in tow is comedian and actor Sam Richardson whose family hails from Ghana. (nods)

Carbonero Effect (Tru TV): Season 6 of this show that i've never actually seen premieres. "At auditions, Michael wows directors with costume changes but crashes when he sings; things get sticky when demonic flying post it notes appear; Michael's co-worker's jaw drops when a shape shifting tenant returns while they clean house." (I thought Michael was a talk show host who discussed weird things??? Right??? Was i wrong in thinking that that's what this show was about???)

Holzier Files (Travel): The team reopens the investigation into a Revolutionary War era warship in Baltimore Harbor discovering the spirits of the ship's deep dark past. (What is this? Titanic?)

WELL THAT'S ALL I GOT FOR NOW. HAVE A GREAT THURSDAY?!?!?!? REMEMBER TO KEEP A STIFF UPPER LIP?!?!?!? (I never did quite know what that meant to be honest--i know there's a British parody of Merchant/Ivory movies that was made in the late 90s called "Stiff Upper Lip" tho.) ANYWAYS SALUTE!!!
