What's On Tonight (Saturday): 50 years later, it's still sunny and the air sweet

I can tell you how to get to Sesame Street! Tonight, the beloved and groundbreaking children's program celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special, which launches its 50th season. Grief, greed, racism, envy, anger... there isn't a subject Sesame Street won't clarify and make understandable for children at some point. For the adulty-adults, BBC America formally launches its Wonderstruck programming with Blue Planet Now. On Toonami, My Hero Academia returns while Hallmark and Lifetime begin their third weekend of holiday romances. So brush up on the ABCs and 123s, here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, November 9!

💻 STREAMING

Little Things (Netflix, 3 a.m.): PREMIERE. This Indian import about a couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai returns for a third and final season.

EARLY PRIMETIME

Adventures of Superman ðŸ“º (Decades, 6 p.m.): In this season one highlight, Superman's identity is almost revealed after a thief steals his special costume.

Doctor Who ðŸ“º (Retro TV, 6 p.m.): In the first Doctor Who event serial Omega (Stephen Thorne), the creator of the experiments that allowed the Time Lords to travel in time, seeks revenge on the Time Lords after being left for dead in a universe made of antimatter. The Time Lords recruit the First Doctor (William Hartnell), the Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton), and the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) for help.

The Kid Who Would Be King ðŸŽ¥ (HBO, 7:50 p.m.): A band of kids embark on an epic quest to thwart a medieval menace in this flick got was well received critically. I've been meaning to check it out.

⭐ Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration (HBO, 7 p.m.): Hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Muppets such as Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, The Count, Abby, Rosita, Zoe, The Grouch, Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie and many more, along with people such as Whoopi Goldberg, Norah Jones, Sterling K. Brown, Elvis Costello, and Nile Rodgers to celebrate the landmark children's program 50th anniversary.✔️

The Professor ðŸŽ¥ (Showtime, 8 p.m.): Professor Johnny Depp lives his life with reckless abandon after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Then he starts mending broken relationships and the outlook changes.

All That (Nickelodeon, 8:30 p.m.): Coach Kreeton stops by Beyonce's session to play the trumpet... Nathan cancels bounce houses... the Toilet Genie arrives to grant wishes... Ariana reads bedtime stories... Detective Ann, Dan and Stan investigate at a restaurant... Ty Dolla $ign performs. This is a lot for 30 minutes.

Amish Abduction ðŸŽ¥ (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.): Annie faces a crisis when her husband leaves their Amish world to live among regular Americans. Things turn even more dire when he returns to seek custody of their son and is willing to do whatever it takes to do it. This is not a Christmas movie.

Picture a Perfect Christmas ðŸŽ¥ðŸŽ„ (Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m.): Merritt Patterson returns home to take care of her grandmother and gets involved with helping a neighbor, Jon Cor, look after his young nephew. Will they fall in love??????

Crikey! It's the Irwins (Animal Planet): Terri returns to her hometown in Oregon to help a kitty cougar in need of a vital health check. Back in the Down Under, Robert rescues Oscar, a small bird with a big attitude, and Bindi bathes an echidna with bad skin allergies.

Henry Danger (Nickelodeon, 8 p.m.): Captain Man and Kid Danger need a little bit of magic and some help from an old friend in order to catch a thief.

Radio Christmas ðŸŽ¥ðŸŽ„ (Lifetime, 8 p.m.): When her Philadelphia radio station is closed for repairs during the holidays, DJ Keshia Knight Pulliam is forced to broadcast from the small town of Bethlehem. Bethlehem!

Svengoolie: It Came from Beneath the Sea ðŸŽ¥ (MeTV, 8 p.m.): In this okay '50s monster flick, a giant octopus, created by atomic testing, rises from the Philippine Trench to terrorize San Francisco harbor.

Blue Planet Now (BBC America, 9 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Tonight begins the latest Blue Planet sequel as the first series for BBC America's micro-net Wonderstruck, which is all-nature every Saturday. This first episode heads to the world's biggest whale nursery to witness the arrival of gray whale mothers and their babies.

Sea of Shadows (National Geographic, 9 p.m.): SPECIAL. The world's smallest whales near extinction as Mexican cartels and the Chinese mafia destroy their habitat.
