What's On Tonight (Thursday): Will And Grace Returns For Its 11th & Allegedly Final Season!!!!

Here Lies What Ye Shall Find On Thy TV Screen Tonight October 24th 2019

8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): After being released from the mental hospital, Dr. Sturgis unexpectedly breaks up with Meemaw. (This is gonna be very hard on Young Sheldon as he very much idolizes  Dr. Sturgis, but he loves his grandma a lot as well)

Superstore (NBC): After Glenn has a health scare, Dina takes control of his nutrition and fitness routine. Jonah and Cheyenne try to get Amy to take a break from working too hard; Mateo interviews for a new position in the store. (You know it says something about how strongly the characters are drawn that I can literally see how all three of the plotlines described here are gonna play out just from their character pairings more or less)

Thursday Night Football (FOX): Tonight's match-up finds Washington Redskins vs. Minnesota Vikings.

Grey's Anatomy (ABC): Meredith has a court hearing after skipping out on her community service; Bailey and Jo have a patient that Jo realize is from the treatment facility; Richard and Gemma grab breakfast together and things go awry. (Skipping out on your community service would seem like an unlikely way to get your medical license back but maybe Meredith's unorthodox way of doing things will somehow work out in her favor here???? Yeah i tend to doubt it too, but you never know--again the show is named after her right??? What the hospital also shares her name now too???? Oh well nevermind then)

Supernatural (The CW): Sam, Dean, and Rowena work tirelessly to keep it all hell from breaking loose (So a typical Thursday night then yeah?); Castiel cannot forgive an errant betrayal.

8:30

The Unicorn (CBS): When Grace gets the lead in the school musical, Wade realizes that the teachers are giving her special treatment after he hears her sing; Michelle and Ben persuade Delia and Forrester to volunteer for snack bar duty at a school function.  (While i like the idea of the first plotline, I do have to kind of question how Wade could not know if his daughter can sing or not, but i guess i can allow it for the purposes of sitcommery)

Perfect Harmony (NBC): Arthur deals with Jean's father who attempts to take their family household back; Reverend Jax (i keep wanting to say Reverend Jim) holds a singles night where Ginny and Dwayne finally address the elephant in their relationship. (nods) (shrugs)

9:00

Mom (CBS): Following the sudden death of a friend, Christy and Bonnie look for ways to honor her memory. (Ohhhh Noooo Who Died?!?!?!?!? Don't tell me, i still havn't watched last week's episode so i guess i'll have to watch that now to find out?????)

The Good Place (NBC): Michael and Jason hatch a plan to rescue Janet from The Bad Place; Eleanor learns firsthand the difficulties of running the neighborhood. (The Neighborhood?!?!?!? Does this mean we're gonna get a special guest appearance from Cedric the Entertainer?!?!?!?)

A Million Little Things (ABC): Delilah makes arrangements for a family photo shoot but Danny struggles to accept that his new family does not include his father; Rome and Regina make big plans to celebrate Rome's parents 50th wedding anniversary. (Why Oh Why...Delilah!) (Ohh those Million Little Things characters always doing a million little things)

Legacies (The CW): As the Salvatore School prepares for its annual football game against Mystic Falls High, the latest monster to enter Mystic Falls sets its eyes on one of the students; Alaric goes head to head with Professor Vardemus.

Naked and Afraid (Discovery): Two survivalist couples discover love in the jungle. (Welcome To The Jungle--We Got Fun and Games, We Got Everything You Want, But...Wait what's the last line of that song again???)

9:30

Carol's Second Act (CBS): When Carol tries her first solo overnight shift at the hospital, Dr. Frost's enthusiastic help and involvement becomes a little more than Carol bargains for; Jenny takes the interns to a bar to find dates. (I like the idea of the show finally giving Patricia Heaton a plotline that has her teamed up with Kyle MacLachlan--I gotta imagine the two of them being the most veteran actors in the cast are supposed to play off of each other well because why else would the show have cast him right???)

Will and Grace (NBC): Grace returns from her European travels a new woman, but her elation is cut short when she receives life changing news. (We all know what that news is yes? I'm just checking here); Karen teaches Will how to be better at phone sex (I really feel like the show has done this before but maybe i'm wrong); Jack has a yard sale to discretely get rid of Estefan's annoying cuckoo clock. (SEASON 11!!!! And seriously i like the show, but it feels like its been on for a lottt longer at this point....I almost feel bad that this is supposed to be their final year, because i feel like it should get to hit season 12 the way a lot of really long running shows have gotten to...why shouldn't Will and Grace get to join their ranks???)

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa wants to appoint herself the secretary of the new law firm in town. (well why not? Someone's gotta be their secretary right?)

10:00

Evil (CBS): On Halloween night, Kristen and David are sent to assess an exorcism; Ben goes on his favorite show where he debunks supernatural finds with fellow unbeliever Vanessa. (The ads for this one look creepy as all get out, but that's just me, I guess it was only a matter of time before the show did a full out exorcism type episode given the nature of the characters' work, and who they work for)

Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): The detectives are spread thin when three major crimes come in at midnight; Rollins and Carisi argue over an arrest. (THREE cases?!?!?!? What is this, the show's version of those episodes of Night Court where they had to adjourn like a hundred or so cases by a certain time for one reason or another???? Remember those? Those were always so wacky--I loved them!)

How To Get Away With Murder (ABC): During therapy, a young Annalise is forced to acknowledge a pivotal family reality that rocks her have to admit a hard truth; Frank returns home with a secret to share about Laurel's disappearance; Michaela accepts an offer to work alongside her father.  (Whoa, whoa, whoa...Annalise is still young! Ok maybe not so much)

Mr. In-Between (FX): Ray does favors but doesn't forgive in "Watch Out For Snakes" (Ohh That Mr. In-Between!)

Impractical Jokers (Tru TV): "Fast Food First Look" (that's all the episode synopsis said so i don't know if this is a new episode or a first look at some new show the Jokers are also doing???) Hockey Mike I'm sure will have the answer! Hockey Mike Always Has The Answer! (because he is wise and also hockey)

Holzer Files (Travel): A murder in a Bulgarian neighborhood results in a challenge to the team when locals won't talk to anyone, not the cops, not Holzer, not Holzer's team! (What Is A Poor Holzer To Do???)

WELL HAVE A GOOD THURSDAY YOU GUYS AND GHOULS....I HEARD THE ENGLISH BEAT'S "TWIST AND FALL" ON THE RADIO ON THE WAY BACK HOME TONIGHT QUITE UNEXPECTEDLY AND NOW I CAN"T NOT PLAY IT ON THE YOUTUBE. GOTTA LOVE THAT ENGLISH BEAT.
