What's On Tonight (Thursday): Get Into A Super Halloween Spirit With A Spooky New Superstore!!!

Spooky New Superstore!!!! Spooky New Superstore!!! Spooky New Superstore!!! Spooky New Superstore!!!! Spooky New Superstore!!! Spooky New Superstore!!!! Spooky New Superstore!!!!

(I gotta tell you that it took a Herculean effort on my part not to have the rest of this WOT entry just be the words Spooky New Superstore written over and over and over again....a la The Shining)

Here's what's going Booga Booga on the tv this Halloween night!!!

8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): CBS is once again doing an all rerun night tonight (Spoooooooky reruns tho!)
This episode being rerun tonight is last year's Halloween inspired episode where "Mary clashes with the high school's drama teacher over his plans for a Halloween inspired church fundraiser; and Georgie falling head over heels in lust with Veronica who is a high school student that Young Sheldon is tutoring" (Yeah i know)

Superstore (NBC): On a Spooky New Superstore!!!! "Amy amps up the store's Halloween spirit to impress the new district manager, even setting up a haunted house that ends up terrifying Glenn; Jonah collects the last of the union cards; and Cheyenne and Mateo wonder if any Cloud 9 employees are capable of murder" (Yes...Dina...duh! That should quite frankly be obvious to anyone who works there!) (Also "Spooky New Superstore!!!!!") ("Spookerstore???")

Thursday Night Football (FOX): San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals (Halloween Football?!?!?!?)

Grey's Anatomy (ABC): Alex enlists Richard to help distract investors when he hears disturbing news about skeletons on the construction site; Teddy tries to create original Halloween costumes for Allison and Leo. (Skeletons on a construction site??? Original Halloween costumes??? Distracting Investors??? Allison and Leo???? This sounds like a crazy one you guys!!!) (Ok it doesn't really, but look at how i can drum up suspense from the most rudimentary of plot lines--its a real talent!!!)

Scariest Movies Of All Time (The CW): Filling in for Supernatural tonight is this hour long filler special counting down the 25 Scariest Movies of All Time as based on an informal poll. (shrugs) Who Cares You Say??? Well This Hour Long Filler Is Hosted By None Other Than Dean Cain Himself!!! (Yeah I Know!)

8:30

The Unicorn (CBS): A rerun of the pilot episode. (Because nothing is scarier than having to continue on with your life after the death of a spouse????)

Perfect Harmony (NBC): When Ginny tries to step into a new management role at work, Arthur helps her to overcome her fears of inadequacy; When Dwayne opts out of a longstanding Halloween tradition, Wayne fears that they are growing apart. (I have no snarky comment for this one)

9:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): Substituting for Mom tonight is a bonus rerun of Lil' Shelly which is the one where he and Meemaw become addicted to this new video game (I forget which one but i wanna say possibly Mario Bros 3??? I don't actually know) Georgie bonds with Herschel down at the auto body shop. (And its at this point that i stop to ask "who the heck is Herschel?!?!?!?")

The Good Place (NBC): One of the new residents creates a division in the ranks in this new episode titled "A Chip Driver Mystery" (Nods) (A Chip Driver Mystery!!!!!!!!)

A Million Little Pieces (ABC): Gary's growing tension with Maggie comes to a head as she accidentally locks Colin out while she's on the phone with Eric; Delilah does a podcast about suicide which helps her open up to Andrew about her own feelings. (Ohh Those Millions Little Pieces Characters Doing All Those Million Little Things...such as locking people out of houses and doing podcasts about touchy subjects and dealing with emotions!)

Mysteries Decoded (The CW): More Filler!!! Tonight this show takes a look at "Vampires of New Orleans" (So they're basically gonna do an hour on the former CW show "The Originals" then???) (Cause that was a show that was literally about vampires living in New Orleans you see--It ran for five years!!!)

American Pickers (History): Coming across a collection with a specific collector of high voltage oddities. (I'm gonna guess that this is another Best Of collection, but maybe i'm wrong)

Ghost Adventures (Travel): Zak and the team investigate the home of the Perron family which was the inspiration for the movie series "The Conjuring" (Nods) (I saw the first one of those...I didn't really care for it that much, but that's only cause it reminded me too much of The Haunting quite frankly--but that's just me, i know a lot of other people liked it a lot)

Naked and Afraid (Discovery): A nature loving mother and a mountain climber team up against relentless insects in a vast cave system; Survivalists are exposed to swarms of mosquitoes and also must battle bloodthirsty bugs in the Malaysian rain forest. (SPOOKY SCARY)

9:30

The Unicorn (CBS): Another rerun ep--this time its the show's 2nd ep which found Wade too polite to tell someone he went out on a date with that he was just not that into her and thus found himself in an unwanted relationship with this woman. (Because Supposedly Good Manners Are Terrifying To Behold!!!!)

Will and Grace (NBC): When Grace admits she's not sure who the father of her new baby is Karen orchestrates a Mama Mia type situation with potential baby daddies; Will worries what will happen if he ends up having a son who is straight and enlists Jack's help to allay his fears. (For once Jack actually has helpful experience to provide Will as lest we forget which i almost totally did that Jack actually has a straight son, yes somehow he procreated during the show's original run--and if that's not scary, than nothing on tv tonight is!!!)

Green Acres (MeTV): Eb needs fast cash so she involves The Douglasses in a money making scheme. (And if the idea of bookies breaking thumbs and kneecaps out among the farmers of Hooterville doesn't terrify you....)

10:00

Evil (CBS): Yet Another Rerun!!! This one was the one from like two weeks ago where they investigate the sociopathic 7 year old (or however old he was) (It was all right, but its waaaay too soon to rerun it no?)

Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): The cast of a teenage girl assaulted in the projects leads to a startling discovery; Benson puts her trust in someone from the past.  (Given how long this show has been on, that could be anyone; but it is most definitively NOT Stabler--i mean seriously, if Stabler was back, i imagine the promos for it would be most prominent)

How To Get Away With Murder (ABC): Annalise intervenes in Michaela's new relationship with her birth father and asks for his help in returning; (returning what again???) After Asher both reunites with and has an unpleasant conversation with his estranged mom, he then tries to have a meaningful moment with Michaela. (What a coincidence that they would both be going thru some hard moments with their respective parents! In fact you might even say its a SPOOOOOKY Coincidence)

Mr. In-Between (FX): An old friend takes the fall; and an associate pays for past misdeeds. (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO---MR. IN-BETWEEN IS SOOO SCARYYYYY!!!!!)

Impractical Jokers (Tru TV): Joe, Murr, Q, and Sal take their crew by surprise (Isn't that the entire crew tho???) once again for another super secret episode, sending brand new faces in front of the camera to compete in classic challenges. (God this sounds like it could be a clip show quite honestly)

FOR THE RECORD THERE ARE ALSO LOTS OF HALLOWEEN THEMED MOVIES BEING BROADCAST TONIGHT--THERE'S IT (Chapter 1) ON TNT. THERE'S HOCUS POCUS (But Of Course) ON FREEFORM; THERE'S HALLOWEEN (Both Classic Original, and H20 Flavored) OVER ON AMC; THERE'S BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN OVER ON USA; AND I'M SURE THERE'S A BUNCH OF OTHERS AS WELL.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN YOU GUYS!!!! I WONDER IF ANTENNA IS DOING HALLOWEEN BASED RERUNS THIS YEAR---WHEN I WAS A KID I USED TO LOVE SEEING THAT GROWING PAINS HALLOWEEN EPISODE THAT WAS A TWO PARTER WHERE THE FAMILY TOOK TURNS TELLING SPOOKY STORIES TO ONE ANOTHER---THEY EVEN CHANGED THEIR THEME SONG FOR THE EPISODE!!!! IN FACT HERE IT IS!!! ("Coming To Scare You By Bringing Your Nightmares Tooo Life") (Noooo Too Scary Alan Thicke---Noooo!!!!)
