⭐ Batwoman (The CW, 8 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) returns to Gotham when a gang targets her father (Dougray Scott), who manages The Crows, a private security firm, and her ex-girlfriend Sophie Moore (Meagan Tandy). Her aid is Lucius Fox's son, Luke (Camrus Johnson)... so I wonder if Julia Pennyworth is on the table since she was in the Rebirth. I read Batwoman: Elegy the first part of the New 52 Batwoman title, and they are fantastic comics -- and quite different from this story. The military background is in the comic, but Sophie is ancient history and dad is still active. Kate's stepsister (Nicole Kang) and stepmother (Elizabeth Anweis) existed in the comic but rarely appeared. The protagonist Alice (Rachel Skarsten) was Kate's first villain in the comics, too. Things got... complex, quickly.
The Durrells in Corfu (PBS, 8 p.m.): Louisa finds herself fending off unexpected romantic advances. Leslie's arranged hunt for new guest, Colonel Ribbindane, doesn't go as planned when his past revisits him.
God Friended Me (CBS, 8 p.m.): Miles and Rakesh help Joy with her new friend suggestion, an aspiring self-help guru. Cara follows a lead in Paris. Meanwhile, Ali reveals to Arthur that she's left Harlem Episcopal for a progressive LGBTQ-friendly congregation.
Kids Say the Darndest Things (ABC, 8 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. In this revival, Tiffany Haddish chats with kids who say not just darned things but the darndest things!
My Wife's Secret Life π₯ (Lifetime, 8 p.m.): Kent devises a revenge plan against a woman whose husband ruined his marriage.
Power (Starz, 8 p.m.): Ghost and Tasha butt heads on how to raise Tariq.... Tate gets caught with his pants down, literally?... LaKeisha creates new enemies within Tommy's organization... Jason tasks Ghost and Tommy to work together.
The Simpsons (Fox, 8 p.m.): Homer is demoted and must supervise interns (paid or unpaid??), among whom is a go-getter who asks Homer to be his mentor. When Homer inspires him to start a business of his own, the two find themselves being chased by the mob.

Family Guy (Fox, 9:30 p.m.): Peter and his friends are sick of forgetting the lucrative business ideas they come up with while drinking, so they strap on Joe's police body cams to record their every move. Quagmire tries to come to terms with an unexpected family development.
Godfather of Harlem (Epix, 10 p.m.): Realizing a consistent source of heroin is vital to reclaim Harlem, Bumpy engages in a fevered search to find a dope supply independent of the Italians. Chin engages the services of crooked cops in a plot to arrest Bumpy and send him back to jail.
The Matchmaker Mysteries: A Killer Engagement (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, 9 p.m.): When a woman is murdered and her fiancΓ© is the prime suspect, successful matchmaker Angie works to prove her client's innocence. You know, like any normal matchmaker.
NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, 9 p.m.): Faced with multiple cases worldwide, the team splits up, with Callen and Sam working in Tel Aviv while Kensi partners with Department of Justice Agent Lance Hamilton in Los Angeles. America!
Poldark (PBS, 9 p.m.): Demelza and the children join Ross in London but his pursuit of Ned's vindication finds them caught in a dangerous web. George pursues his new alliance but his lingering grief has unexpected consequences.
Shark Tank (ABC, 9 p.m.): The sharks are baited with light therapy lamp, portable oxygen in a can, an unusual solution to maintaining a youthful appearance, and a plant-based version of a guilty pleasure.
Spider-Man (Disney XD, 9:30 p.m.): When Cloak and Dagger emerge to take revenge against Tiberius Stone and his company, Alchemax, Superior Spider-Man must take them down to protect the school.

The Walking Dead (AMC, 9 p.m.): PREMIERE. Season 10?! It feels like... it's been longer. The group in Oceanside continues to train in case the Whisperers (like that ABC show?) return. Tensions are high as the heroes struggle to hold onto their concept of civilization.

The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour πΊ (getTV, 10 p.m.): Tonight, we have back-to-back episodes of the classic Smothers Brothers variety show. First up is a season one episode featuring Janet Leigh and Simon and Garfunkel. Later, an early season two episode featuring Bette Davis and The Who.
