What's On Tonight (Sunday): The Rock is Ballers to the end

Ballers (via Tumblr)
Ballin'! Tonight is the first in a string of series finales this fall. Ballers signs off after somehow making it though nearly 50 episodes. We know one presidential candidate who will be watching. Right? Right. Also ending but only until next year, is the rest of HBO's lineup, the glorious Succession and the improving Righteous Gemstones. Among the vast slate of new programming tonight are premieres of some will-be For the Record programs, the greater highlight being Discovery's Why We Hate. Elsewhere, Inside the Actors Studio returns on a new network, and Batwoman survives to week two — not that there was any doubt. Of note: given the high amount of scripted shows, some programs I might normally give a weekly summary to — AFHV and This Is Life, for example — are now in the For the Record list. Ready your answers to the Pivot Questionnaire, here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, October 13!
