Fleabag star and Killing Eve creator (and now multi emmy winner) Phoebe Waller Bridge hosts for the first time tonight alongside musical guest Taylor Swift who is making her 4th time as musical guest here amazingly, I guess thanks to multiple cameos on the show over the years (including at the show's enormous 40th anniversary special) it genuinely only feels like the umpteenth time she's appearing on the show as the musical guest. (For the record she only hosted proper once back in November of 2009)
Anyways what will tonight's show be like? Will it be exactly like the mixed bag the show usually is? Will it be worse? Will it be slightly better? Will Alec Baldwin do another limp Trump sketch? (Normally i'd say no because Baldwin rarely appears two weeks in a row on the show, but given how much Trump has been in the news, how could he not???) We'll find all this out and more in the next 18 minutes!!! Be Here Or Be...Square???? No that doesn't rhyme! Be Here Or Be A Bottle of Beer. Yeah that fits.
