Vindman did testify and it was big. And Sondland has got to be worried. Stick too close to Trump and you're going down. [Politico]

Because Vindman was a big deal he was immediately attacked. The surprise was that some Republicans joined the Democrats in denouncing the attackers. The tide is turning. [NBC]

Pence has a decision to make: help Trump or help himself. He's not very good at either and might just be dumb enough to think he can do both. [NBC]

Dumber than Pence but not the President? We must be talking about Devin Nunes. An aide to Nunes is trying to out the Whistleblower. So far no one has taken the bait - probably because no one wants the Whistleblower's blood on their hands. Nunes and his aid could care less. [Daily Beast]

The House Judiciary Committee wants everyone to know that it really, really wants to see Mueller's evidence. Now. Yesterday if it could. [CNN]

Of course Ghouliani's buddy Parnas must testify about shifting money to Republicans. [CNN]

Think the death of Baghdadi is a game changer? Let's ask a bunch of people in the Middle East who had more reason to hate him than we did. [NPR]

AG Barr is trying to maximize his damage before the Trump White House implodes. He's got a couple new ways to twist the screws on immigrants fighting deportation. [NBC]

There's no love for refugees either. The number of refugees allowed to resettle in the US for the month of October is zero. [CNN]

It's no surprise that a Federal Judge has blocked the Alabama abortion ban. It was written to be blocked and sent up to Brett Kavanaugh. Buyer beware. [Politico]
