๐Ÿ… Feed Me: Apricot y Cherry Hamantaschen Cookies

Happy Tuesday Everyone **waves** ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ

Yesterday was Rosh Hashanah and since we’re an interfaith home (hubby is Jewish) I make a lot of Jewish origin foodstuffs. This is one of my family’s fav cookies esp with both Apricot y cherry fillings (you can use whatever flavors you prefer).

L'shanah tovah ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ   (Translation: cheers to a great year)

Ingredients 


  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp grated orange zest
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1-5 tsp water (if needed) I used 2 tsp of orange juice after I zested
