The Resident (FOX): Returning for Season 3 tonight is this medical show on which "The doctors of Chastain are surrounded by new rules and doctors as Red Rock Mountain Medical takes over the hospital; Conrad finds himself in a dangerous situation when the construction for a new neurosurgery center causes a gas explosion. (Dun Dun Dunnn)
The Conners (ABC): After Emilio's sudden deportation, Jackie steps in to act as a surrogate husband figure to Becky and offers up a carefully thought up birth plan; Darlene finds herself in a love triangle between ex husband David and new love Ben; Harris has a problem of her own that she must deal with. (Season 2, but really season 12 if we're being honest here)
Pandora (The CW): Still running even against increased competition is this summer filler program, and in tonight's ep "As the Fleet Academy students prepare to celebrate Armistice Day, Jax continues to struggle with the revelation that Raylen is married; Raylen must decide where his loyalties truly lie." (Damnit Raylen!!!)
Country Music (PBS): "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way? 1973-1983" Episode 7 finds "mainstream crossovers and a new Outlaw Sound are prevalent in country music in this decade."
A Brush With Love (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the evening is this tale that has "A discouraged artist painting a real life Prince Charming, and then is shocked when he comes to life" With Arielle Kebbel and Nick Bateman.

Bless This Mess (ABC): The 2nd season premiere of this sitcom finds "Mike and Ro hosts the town's Huskers kickoff party, but no one in Bucksnort believes that they can pull it off; Rio loses Portia the pig that has been selected for the lucky pig race, Beau and Kay try to hide the fact that they've split up from the town for some reason. (This is basically Green Acres right?)

FBI (CBS): The 2nd season of this procedural finds "After a bomb detonates in a restaurant in Queens (NOOO!!!), the case becomes personal for OA as he grew up eating there and then goes undercover to prevent another explosion from happening. (nods)
THIS IS US (NBC): The 4th season of this still huuuge hit drama finds "Jack meets Rebecca's parents for the first time; new characters are introduced" New characters?!?!?!? C'mon you got like a dozen characters already that you're juggling!!!!
Empire (FOX): The 6th (and final) season for this show finds "Lucious now a wanted fugitive is on the run; Cookie focuses on the brand outside of Empire which now includes a day time talk show and a community center; Andre is confronted by several people who now want in on the company now that the company is actually making money once again. (To The Empire???)
Mixed-Ish (ABC): In this Black-ish spinoff premiering tonight "A young Rainbow and her family try to acclimate to the suburbs after life on a commune" Mark Paul Gosslaar plays Rainbow's dad who in the show was portrayed by Beau Bridges--I can weirdly see a resemblance in the ads so it seems like good casting I guess.
Mysteries Decoded (The CW): The Salem Witch Trials are investigated.
Chopped (Food): A Halloween themed competition finds the chefs preparing meals that have nods to horror films including one that has fava beans and Chianti as its ingredients. (HA???)
Expedition Unknown (Travel): The mystery of a treasure left behind by the cult of Brother XII, than its off to Eastern Europe to investigate the ancient origins of vampires. (Vampires????)
Life Below Zero (Nat Geo): Season Premiere of this show that sounds a bit like one of those Discovery shows that has a bunch of people trying to survive frigid temps, but this is real life so it explores people whose professions have them living in sub-zero temps.

Black-Ish (ABC): The 6th season premiere of this series finds "The twins entering 8th grade and dealing with that; Junior out on his own managing social media for Migos; and Pops reveals that he intends to get married" (Life Goes On For The Black-Ish Family I Guess Is The Theme Here?)

NCIS: New Orleans (CBS): The 6th season premiere of this series finds "Pride must cut his vacation short when Hannah is suspended for breaking protocol during a joint investigation with the FBI" (nods) (Sounds like Goooood Watching)
New Amsterdam (NBC): Returning for a 2nd season (inexplicably so) is this medical drama where "Max works to find a new normal 3 months after the accident and the birth of his daughter; Kapoor grapples with the stigma of aging; Iggy has a successful day that inspires a life changing idea; and Reynolds deals with an unreliable new intern. (New Amsterdam Its Become Much Too Much!)
Emergence (ABC): The series premiere of this new mystery show finds "Jo Evans plunges her family into an ongoing mystery when she discovers a young girl in the night of an inexplicable plane crash and tries her best to protect her for some reason" (Staring Allison Tollman--you know from the TV version of Fargo?)
Mayans M.C. (FX): The secrets behind the death of EZ and Angela's mother begin to unfold. This Kurt Sutter series runs until 11:14 tonight.
Treadstone (USA): This Bourne Identity inspired series doesn't officially premiere for several weeks yet but is getting a special premiere episode sneak preview tonight here for some reason. (I guess to drum up some interest and word of mouth in it?) The first episode runs in full during this hour.
Greenleaf (OWN): "Bob Whitmore returns to Memphis to remind Grace that he is the one in charge and to encourage her to consider a new idea he has for Calvary Church, While out on a mission to uncover what's been going on between Noah and Grace, Charity makes a phone call. (That's it? She makes a phone call????)
Code of the Wild (Travel): The hunt for a legendary silver mine said to be worth millions of dollars; and a cryptic journal leads the brothers to the wilds of Kentucky.
Undercover Billionaire (Discovery): (shrugs)
Adam Ruins Everything (TRU TV): And Last But Not Least, Adam "policies" the truth behind the overuse of SWAT teams, illustrating how using school officers can create a pipeline for prisons and examines the origins and intended purposes of police officers. (The episode is Adam Ruins...The Police--but I suspect its not the music group he's ruining just based on the synopsis)
