What's On Tonight (Thursday): Spin The Wheel Spins Its Last Wheel

There's not much on once again tonight Thursday Sept. 5th, 2019....



8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): This show gets the two episodes airing back to back treatment tonight as CBS is trying to get people used to seeing it on at 8:00 so no more Big Bang Theory reruns on Thursdays (at least not on CBS, you can still easily find reruns of it on TBS to be sure) Anyways tonight's Young Sheldon reruns include "George Sr. gets a job offer from a school in Oklahoma that would come with a whopping pay raise but everyone else doesn't exactly want their lives in West Texas to be disrupted so this kinda ends up causing a rift between the dad and the rest of the family; Sheldon meanwhile tries to document all of this turmoil for a research paper he's trying to write for his psych class"

And the 8:30 episode is one that i actually liked a great deal "Young Sheldon reads an article that says that adults who had stunted childhoods become unhappy social outcasts and not wanting to be unhappy as an adult decides to act more a foolhardy child more appropriate for his age" (There's a lot of Beaver in Sheldon in this one if i remember it right) YOUNG SHELDON!!!!


Meanwhile we got FOOTBALL (NBC): You got the Packers Vs The Bears (Oh My!)

Spin The Wheel (FOX): Tonight we have not one, but two back to back episodes tonight as the show says Sayonara for the summer (and possibly forever???) SPIN THAT WHEEL FOR OLD TIME'S SAKE DAX SHEPARD!!!

The Outpost (THE CW): As the titular outpost is besieged, its most wanted prisoner plans an escape; Talon and Zed unearth an enemy from Talon's childhood, (And if you know this show at all, there's already no small shortage of enemies from Talon's present so i dunno why they'd wanna go digging one up!)

Axe Men (History): AX MEN ASSEMBLE!!!

If anyone's interested THE EMOJI MOVIE makes its basic cable premiere on FX at 8:00 (and reruns again at 10)

Two Sentence Horror Story (THE CW): "When an old Haitian grandma is forced to move in with her estranged son, she begins to sense that something is quite wrong with his seemingly perfect family"

Mountain Men (History): Season Finale of this show! Will the Mountain Men remain Mountain Men??????

Alaskan Bush People (Discovery): ????

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): The guys fall for yet another one of  Friendly Freddie's scams. (You'd think after being scammed like five or six by the guy, Gomer and co would catch on by now)  This time it involves a new dating service that Freddie is proposing to offer the guys. (well why not??? i'm sure they get lonely over there!)

That's followed as usual at 9:30 by Green Acres where "The Douglas's farm may be cleared away for a newly proposed highway" (Ah yes who could forget that Green Acres series finale where they had to give up their farm for a new highway!)

Reef Break (ABC): When Doug O'Casey involves Cat Chambers in a prison break, no one is sure whom Cat Chambers is really working for. (Why does Cat Chambers have to be working for anybody? Why can't Cat Chambers just be in business for Cat Chambers??? She's Cat Chambers Damnit! Cat Chambers Only Looks Out For Cat Chambers--and Only Cat Chambers Can Change That Because She's Cat Chambers) (Have I Said Cat Chambers Enough Here????)

There's a rerun of FBI on CBS

Impractical Jokers unfortunately reverts back to reruns tonight after the last several Thursdays featuring new episodes. (Sorry Hockey Mike)

There's really not much on any of the broadcast channels tonight! Only 3 more weeks til the new Fall season kicks-off tho so brace yourself!!!
