What's On Tonight (Tuesday): So you think the Stars can dance ...

Tonight's Top Pick is the first part of Dancing with the Stars' thirty-fifth season premiere. I'd snark, but I do watch the show every week, and am already starting to figure out who I'll vote for each week.

While I reflect on how DWTS is the only way I would know who's on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, Sept. 15. All times are Eastern.


STREAMING
Vanessa Gonzalez: Mamona, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Special presentation. "The comedian explores growing up in a Texas border town with a Catholic mother and witch grandmother, examining family chaos, cultural expectations, and the meaning of being called 'Mamona.'"

Jo Koy: Blue in the Face, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Special presentation. "Jo Koy's sixth Netflix stand-up special, filmed before a sold-out crowd at Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. In his most ambitious special yet, Koy does what he does best — breaking down family dynamics, Filipino-American identity, and the beautiful chaos of everyday life — until he's blue in the face. Raw, relentless, and laugh-out-loud funny, Blue in the Face is proof that Jo Koy never runs out of things to say."

Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence, 3:01 a.m., Britbox. Series premiere. "Exes Tommy (Josh Dylan) and Tuppence (Antonia Thomas) reunite at a lavish wedding, but when a guest is murdered and their old friend is blamed, they start digging for the truth." Later, "Tommy and Tuppence chase new leads to clear Bingo's name, but as the mystery deepens, their first case puts them closer to the killer - and danger." Costarring Imelda Staunton. The Creep Tapes, 3:01 a.m., AMC+ and Shudder. Third season premiere. "Crystal" and "Mo." "A washed-up rock star tries to reclaim his former glory through the production of a salacious video." The Good Ship Murder, 3:01 a.m., Britbox. "Crete." "A pop-pioneer photographer hoping to recapture the magic of his former years by recreating an iconic photograph of his long-lost muse is found murdered. Jack and Kate are on the case while Kate's concerns about Marlowe continue to grow."

The Varnell Hill Show, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. "Varnell Hill Keeps It Real." No description available.

TALKIN' 'BOUT TALK

Good Morning America/GMA3, 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., ABC. Scott Speedman (R.J. Decker), a performance from Broadway's Buena Vista Social Club, and Lindsey Vonn, continuing to recover from the Olympics. Later, more Scott, plus Dr. Shefari Tsabary (Raising Conscious Daughters and Raising Conscious Sons).

Tamron Hall, times and stations vary. Michelle Hadley (A Toxic Love Story), "opens up about spending 88 days in jail for a crime she didn't commit after being framed by her ex-fiancé." Michelle's joined by the former federal agent who helped crack the case. Also, Carlos King talks about "his road to becoming a reality TV mogul," plus rideshare driver Anthony Baines, whose vehicle was used by cops in a chase.

Scheduled acts include Conner Leavitt (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) and Adele Zaikman, dancing the salsa to "Whoomp! (There It Is)"; Guillermo Rodriguez (Jimmy Kimmel Live!) and Witney Carson, dancing the cha-cha-cha to "Mr. Big Stuff"; and Harry Shum Jr. (formerly of Glee and Grey's Anatomy) and Jenna Johnson, dancing the cha-cha-cha to "Let's Groove." At the same time, the university community was shaken by the murders of five students over a matter of days."
