Tonight's Top Pick is the series premiere of Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story. It stars Ella Beatty, who certainly has the eyes of her mother, Annette Bening.

While I'm thankful that we're getting that much closer to broadcast TV's return, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Sept. 17. All times are Eastern.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "Trapped in a cruel Victorian-era household, Lizzie Borden (Ella Beatty) kills her parents in a gory ax murder that shocks the nation." The Murderer Behind the Mask, 3:01 a.m., AMC+ and Sundance Now. Series premiere. "When Elaine O'Hara goes missing in the Dublin Mountains in 2012, police assume she has taken her own life. But over a year later, a chance discovery of items found in a lake by a group of fishermen leads to a body of a young woman, sparking an incredible murder investigation, and leading to a very surprising suspect.
