Our Top Pick tonight is the series premiere of Trespasses (PBS, 10 p.m.). This Irish limited series explores a forbidden love between a schoolteacher/barmaid and barrister in 1970s Northern Ireland during the Troubles. Perhaps the bigger draw in this 4-episode drama is Gillian Anderson as the mom of the schoolteacher. It debuted across the pond nearly a year ago.
