Artists and Models and Your Own Thursday Headlines

Courtesy Yarn.

This week's Notable Opening Night is Aug. 20, 1923, when the first Artists and Models revue opened at the Shubert. The revue was something of an off-Broadway transfer, having originated in Greenwich Village. In five productions from 1923-26, 1927-28, and a month in 1930, Artists and Models was a way to see topless and naked women on Broadway. Perhaps my friend, the lady who digs death, would love seeing a production?

Next week, a sharp-dressed show.
