There are so many futbol stories. I'm still grooving on Curaçao and now I have Cape Verde on my map. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I love travel and if I get the chance to go somewhere that most people wouldn't think of going I take it.
But I am still in mourning for an asshole. I don't know how to deal with that so I'll take the opportunity to smack down the Giants. Baseball that is. New York/Jersey has different problems.
This was a complete self-own. All they had to do was play a baseball game. What they get paid to do. But the owner is a Trumpanista and feels entitled to shit on gay people. So his pitchers pick and choose scripture verses to attack the LGBTQetc. crowd that they were supposed to be celebrating. One refused to wear the Pride hat at all.
As I mournfully confessed to OMClen, I now hate the Giants more than the Dodgers, Yankees and Royals combined. Hell, throw the Astros in there too.
What a stupid way to destroy your business. The Giants will move along because there are plenty of Trumpanista fans who also feel entitled and more that will never care. But they represent maybe half the profits. Gays and allies don't make up the other half. Add the corporate sponsors who want nothing to do with such a toxic brand? Suicide. [Substack]
