What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Packing their knives and going

America's Culinary Cup

OOOOOHHHHH! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, May 13!

Our Top Pick tonight is the finale of America's Culinary Cup (CBS, 9:30 p.m. / Paramount+, Thursday). This could also be the series finale for this not-warm-welcomed culinary competition show. The criticisms are warranted. There are too many weak gimmicks and Padma is often more the star than any of the chefs. Plus I can't stand Buddha Lo. His Top Chef seasons are the worst, and his ego and self infatuation hasn't waned. I only made it through 3 episodes before tentatively checking out. But I give it some points for regularly starting on the half-hour and only being an hour-long show. Rarity!

Elsewhere, Goodbye Omens, the Boys have some mother's milk, Amazon goes Off Campus, One Chicago goes dark, we must Share the forest, and a Testament nears.

(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Gracenote.)
