What's On Tonight (Sunday): Steve Carell, a one-eyed fat man?

Rooster

Weekend of cock! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, May 3!

Our Top Pick tonight is Rooster (HBO & HBO Max, 10:05 p.m.). This dark comedy set within academia [*pours one out for Lucky Hank*] finds author Steve Carell going to a college to repair his relationship with his professor daughter Charly Clive. He's invited to stay and things spiral from there. This Bill Lawrence-created show has an impressive cast, including Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, and John C. McGinley as regulars and recurrers Alan Ruck, Robby Hoffman, and SNL host Olivia Rodrigo's former Disney co-star Madison Hu. I think I quite enjoy it.

Elsewhere, Watson solves the final case, Aimee Lou Wood was Live from London, Comeback talks to Dudes, a first date Calls, Eva Longoria is in Burgundy, a Guy gets engaged, and Bob's goes to the Carniapolis.
