What's On Tonight (Friday): What Can Keanu Say to a Career-Ending Video?

Today's Top Pick is the premiere of Outcome.  The film follows Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), an A-list Hollywood celeb who hasn't made a film in five years and is being threatened with the release of a video that could destroy his image.  The problem is no one knows who has the video or what's even on it.

I was a little hesitant to give this one Top Pick status, especially with the competition being the legacy follow-up to Malcolm in the Middle.  The good about Outcome: the cast!  Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, Jonah Hill, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Roy Wood Jr, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Martin FREAKIN' Scorsese!  The bad: Hill also co-wrote and directed.  In the end, that cast is too good to let any dislike of Hill to triumph.  

After I wrote that last sentence I went to Rotten Tomatoes to see if any reviews have posted.  Outcome is sitting at 22% rotten.  Eesh.  Unfortunately, I really like the headline-gif / call-response thing I got going on, so I'm sticking with Outcome.

If you want something you might actually enjoy, maybe check out the aforementioned Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair.  It's at 79% fresh.  I'll check it out but this thing better be at least half Hal and Lois or I am going to lose interest fast.  They were always the real reason to watch.
