What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

The Beauty

Do you like movies about gladiators? Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 4!

Our Top Pick tonight is season finale of The Beauty (FX & Hulu, 9 p.m.). This series follows a sexually transmitted treatment known as "the Beauty" that grants users physical attractiveness but its side effects, which are being covered up, are lethal. Ya know, I kinda like it. I'm not caught up on it, but I kinda like the premise, which is at least Substance adjacent. And Ryan Murphy can definitely assembled a solid cast, including Isabella Rossellini, Rebecca Hall, Vincent D'Onofrio, John Carroll Lynch, etc., plus some of his regulars.

Elsewhere, One Chicago takes to the skies, Dr. Phil was Dirty and RottenHijack is freed, Spirits assemble, Padma Lakshmi begins a new Cup, reviews are in on Scrubs, Sherlock Holmes gets a TV show backstory, Abbott calls for aide,
