| DTF St. Louis |
Spring forward, America! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, March 8!
Our Top Pick tonight is DTF St. Louis (HBO & HBO Max, 9 p.m.). This dark comedy miniseries is about a love triangle for the middle-aged. The triangle in this case is Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini with the middle one ending up dead (I think). Richard Jenkins investigates the crime. I assume Lily Allen did it.
Elsewhere, Steve Carell is a Rooster, Our Town is set to be a Classic, illnesses won't stop Dad, Calling the Heart is top secret, Chernobyl has melted, 60 Minutes gets Hegseth'd, Crossroad Springs returns, and Primal goes to the Black River.
(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Gracenote.)
EARLY STREAMING & EVENING
60 Minutes (CBS, 7 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday): First in the double-length segment "Targeting Americans," Scott Pelley investigates the existence of Havana Syndrome and studies from the federal government challenging its origins. Lastly on "Secretary Hegseth," Major Garrett interviews Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth about the war in Iran.
Dark Winds (AMC+, 3 a.m. / AMC, 9 p.m.): Leaphorn, Chee and Manuelito search for Billie in Los Angeles. Chee is confronted by memories of his past while Leaphorn reconnects with Emma. Vaggan returns to the hunt when she learns that Billie is in town looking for her remaining family.

π PRIMETIME π
American Classic (MGM+, 9 p.m.): As Richard plans his Our Town, Jon tries to rein him in. Boyle offers Kristen a payment holiday for a dinner invite. Richard's fundraising falters but is hopeful after an evening onstage.
American Dad! (Fox, 9 p.m. / Hulu, Monday): Stan is determined to prove that there's no illness he can't power through, even if it ends up killing him and everyone else.
π₯ The Couple Across the Street (Lifetime, 8 p.m.): "When a family seeks refuge with neighbors during a community lockdown, they start to suspect their hosts have dangerous intentions, until a shocking twist reveals the real threat was far closer than they ever could have imagined."
Crossroad Springs (Great American Family, 8 p.m.): SPRING PREMIERE. "As spring arrives in Crossroad Springs, James launches his Cowboy Church amid his family's struggles with drought, pride, and rivalry with the Newmans."
⭐ DTF St. Louis (HBO & HBO Max, 9 p.m.): The episode title, "Snag It," is the only thing that is provided. Not an ideal promoting scheme when I've already heard zero buzz about the show.
Family Guy (Fox, 8 & 9:30 p.m. / Hulu, Monday): "The Griffin family retells The Lord of the Rings, explains how the Griffins' ancestors arrived in Quahog and looks back at Quagmire's 1960s variety show." This show always has the pulse on what pop culture is hottest. Later, "Brian discovers his nose can detect diseases and smells that someone in the Griffin house has cancer."
Marshals (CBS, 8 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday): As Kayce tries to embrace his new beginning, a Marshals op to stop a domestic terror attack lands him in a valley of buried Dutton family skeletons.
Rooster (HBO & HBO Max, 10 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. "A comedy revolving around an author's (Steve Carell) intricate bond with his daughter (Charly Clive), set against the backdrop of a college campus." So... not a True Grit/Rooster Cogburn reboot?✔️
Tracker (CBS, 9 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday): Tracker must track down an 18-year-old who goes missing from his family's restaurant. And the teen has been living a double life!
Universal Basic Guys (Fox, 8:30 p.m. / Hulu, Monday): Mark trains Hank to become a professional eater. Tammy joins Darren's video game squad.
Watson (CBS, 10 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday): "When a patient arrives plagued by a mysterious neurological disorder, Watson and the fellows discover they were forced to eat their parents amid a childhood survival incident." That escalated quickly.
When Calls the Heart (Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m. / Hallmark+, Monday): Nathan enlists Allie's help for a top-secret mission and brings Charlotte on a heartfelt visit. Lucas and Edie grow closer from afar. Rosemary steps into a new role.
