You got an education in theater while I was gone and as expected y'all did a great job filling in the sports in the comments. I missed the Superb Owl, the Olympics and I need to do some catching up before I even look at basketball. I suppose I could complain about the upcoming World Cup but all I know at this point is that Americans better start taking an interest or there's going to be a lot of empty seats in the stands. Absolutely no one that I talked with in Europe or Africa have any interest in coming to the USA. No one. People who could afford World Cup tickets would not be flying in steerage so why would they trade their ticket home for a ride in shackles to El Salvador or South Sudan or, worse, Texas?
