What's On Tonight (Thursday): It's a Love Story, baby, just say ... Nah!?

Courtesy Variety.

Tonight's Top Pick is the three-episode premiere of Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, beginning at 9 p.m. on FX and Hulu. I almost didn't choose this, but I figured, oh, what the hell?

Let's see what else TV has to offer us for Thursday, Feb. 12. All times are Eastern.

STREAMING
Can You Keep a Secret?, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Series premiere. "Domineering granny Debbie Fendon (Dawn French) is a woman who will stop at nothing to protect her family - it's just the person they most need protecting from is her. When her hermit-like husband, William (Mark Heap), unexpectedly dies, she makes an outlandish decision that will put the family under more pressure than ever before. Because William isn't actually dead - he just got mistakenly declared it and has been living in the loft while they wait for the life insurance to pay out. This comes as a bit of a shock to their easily frazzled son, Harold (Craig Roberts), whose wife, Neha (Mandip Gill), works for the local police. Just as they come to terms with the baffling behavior of these geriatric toddlers, Debbie reveals another secret she's been keeping up her sleeve - and this one could bring the whole family down." Six episodes available.

How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "Three lifelong pals (Caoilfhionn Dunne, Roísín Gallagher, and Sinéad Keenan) embark on a chaotic quest to solve the mystery of their old friend's suspicious death and keep their own dark secret under wraps." Eight episodes available.

Soul Power: The Legend of the American Basketball Association, 3:01 a.m., Amazon. Series premiere. "Experience the rise and fall of the American Basketball Association, whose nine-year rivalry with the NBA changed basketball forever. From the 3-point shot to the Slam Dunk Contest, the ABA's innovations have become staples of today's game. The story is told by those who lived it: Julius 'Dr. J' Erving, Larry Brown, Bob Costas, and other Hall of Famers who started in the ABA. Narrated by Common." Four episodes available.

Field Generals: History of the Black Quarterback, 3:01 a.m., Peacock. "Alternative Route." "Just as show business in the 1970s typecast Black characters. So did the NFL. Star college QBs like Tony Dungy are switched to lesser positions by their pro teams. Others, like future Hall of Famer Warren Moon, take alternative routes."

Gangs of London, 3:01 a.m., AMC+. "As Lale faces a difficult choice, Asif is made an enticing offer and Marian discovers something that could impact her family."

Grace, 3:01 a.m., Britbox. "Dead at First Sight." "Grace investigates a businessman's death at a hotel but not all is quite as it seems."

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. "Come, Let's Away." "During the cadets' first training mission on an abandoned ship, they encounter a dangerous new enemy. As the cadets fight for survival, Nahla must risk everything to save them by seeking help from an unexpected source."
