| The 'Burbs |
Bad to the bunny! Here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, February 8!
Our Top Pick tonight is the series premiere of The 'Burbs (Peacock, 3 a.m.). The dry and lifeless 1989 dark comedy film is the latest to get a TV series remake. I view this as the post-Super Bowl show since NBC is otherwise committed to Global Sportsballs. This 'Burbs' new couple is Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall and besides the setting and character setup, has little relation to the original. The duo finds meets their bizarre suburban neighbors (Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Kapil Talwalkar, Colin Robinson Mark Proksch) and then stumble into a possible murder mystery. Adapted by Celeste Hughey, Palmer also produces alongside Brian Grazer and Seth MacFarlane. Review are generally lukewarm but positive.
Elsewhere, Bad Bunny is your halftime entertainment, seabirds battle those who love their country, Vanished digs deeper, and Hillside Strangler concludes.

EARLY STREAMING & DAYSIDE
⭐ The 'Burbs (Peacock, 3 a.m.): SEASON ONE. "A young couple moves back to the husband's childhood home, only to face threats from new neighbors and uncover dark secrets of their cul-de-sac."✔️
πΊ Here's Lucy (Catchy Comedy, all Sunday): '60s SITCOMS for $100: In 1968 "The Lucy Show" evolved into a new show titled this (15 Nov 1991)
It's Not Like That (Wonder Project on Prime Video, 3 a.m.): "The Space I Keep For You"
π Super Bowl LX (NBC, 6 p.m.): It's time for the Big Game! Go team, go! This year it's the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots. Plus, lots and lots of commercials vying for your attention. Our live thread begins at 4.
WHAT ELSE IS ON
Great American Rescue Bowl (Great American Family, noon)
Puppy Bowl XXII (HBO Max & Discovery networks & TBS & Tru TV, 2 p.m.)
Sleeping with a Killer (Lifetime, 10 a.m. to 4 a.m.): Season 3
π Unrivaled (TruTV, 7:30 & 8:45 p.m.)
π PRIMETIME π
π Super Bowl LX Halftime Show (NBC, 8ish p.m.): As far as I'm concerned, this is the only watchable part of Super Bowl Sunday. This year, the headliner is Latin trap artist Bad Bunny, one of the biggest music stars in the world. He (rightfully) won Record of the Year last week at the Grammys, and some of those recent songs will surely be performed here.✔️
Vanished (MGM+, 9 p.m.): Alice uncovers secrets about Tom as allies turn suspect. After a murder and a deadly chase, she fears he's caught in something darker.
