What's On Tonight (Wednesday): That darn Pat

The Ms. Pat Show

I've got Spirit, yes I do! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 28!

Our Top Pick tonight is The Ms. Pat Show (BET+, 3 a.m.). I think this multi-cam sitcom, which often earns an Emmy nod for directing, is worth the price of BET+, but it should be noted this sharp and crass comedy isn't for everyone. While it makes wonderful use of the sitcom format, the target is niche with many crude comebacks and assuredly targeting Black audiences. I find it one of the funniest shows airing. And going by today's synopsis, Ms. Pat is gettin' real, which it often does, regularly tackling hot topics like a Norman Lear sitcom would.

Elsewhere, School Spirits is back in class, Dirty Talk has the last word, Shrinking returns to the couch, Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista put together a CrewAbbott takes pictures, and amphitheaters have Secrets.
