Happy hump day! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 14!
Our Top Pick tonight is Riot Women (BritBox, 3 a.m.). This British show is the latest from Sally Wainwright, the brilliant mind behind Happy Valley, Renegade Nell, Scott & Bailey, and Last Tango in Halifax, among others. This time her focus is women of a certain age, all dealing with personal crises of some sort, coming together to form a band. Top of the Pops bound!
Elsewhere, ABC looks back at daytime TV's dominance, Idris Elba is Hijacked again, Palm Royale goes to the ball, Abbott needs to find answers, Med takes on road rage, Percy Jackson goes down with the ship, and Ms. Pat goes to the hospital.
