What's On Tonight (Wednesday): She's not going to be ignored, Squares

Hollywood Squares

Come on down! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, January 7!

Our Top Pick tonight is the premiere of Hollywood Squares (CBS, 8 p.m. / Paramount+, Thursday). Back for season 2, this latest iteration puts Drew Barrymore in the center square and is hosted by Nate Burleson. Tonight's season premiere includes [*checks notes*] Glenn Close. While it can be... amusing, I think it (and probably every other hourlong broadcast game show) would be better in a half-hour slot.

Elsewhere, Ms. Pat returns, Bruce Springsteen performs Nebraska, Marcello Hernández is a BoyAbbott moves into a mall, eating raw meat is an Addition, Harlan Coben concocts a Final Twist, a Fire makes things personal, A&E is all about the Law, and CNBC peaks at Netflix's Playbook.
