Our Top Pick tonight is Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 (ABC, 11:30 p.m. / Hulu, Thursday). While normally I wouldn't go near such legacy specials that have long lost their luster, Rockin' is reinstating its Central Time this year with a countdown from Chicago. The CT celebration in New Orleans was dropped a couple years ago. There's no lack of zombie Dick as this year's Rockin', including the primetime show, spans 7½ hours — 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a newsbreak at 10.
