Christmas Cookies are about the only tradition I recall growing up. We'd have family over for Christmas Eve, but I don't remember dinner.
There was a breakfast casserole my mom would make in the morning that I know I liked.

But Hubby's family has always had waffles on Christmas Eve. Eggo's to be exact. With ham.
That's something I was ready to adopt.
