| Murdaugh: Death in the Family |
Goodfeathers flock together! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, November 5!
Our Top Pick tonight is Murdaugh: Death in the Family (Hulu, midnight). There's no shortage of content recounting the story and murder in the Murdaugh family, but this Hulu project is the first long-form miniseries. It was previously a Tubi movie and a two-part Lifetime movie/mini with Bill Pullman as Alex, the convicted murderer (I'm sure everyone here remembers that one because it was Top Pick). This time it's Jason Clarke with Patricia Arquette, Gerald McRaney, and Noah Emmerich in other familial roles plus J. Smith-Cameron. There are many docs, minidocs, and podcasts about the Murdaughs, too, but this mini is based on Murdaugh Murders Podcast by Mandy Matney, who is played by Brittany Snow.
Elsewhere, the Fire has a traffic jam, pigeons are Nature, Tyler Perry has Joy, Tournament of Champions gets into the holiday spirit, phones are off at Abbott, Loot reminisces, Nova travels to the International Space Station, and Disney+ takes its First Steps.
(All times are Eastern. All listings are new unless otherwise stated. For more listings, visit The Futon Critic or Gracenote.)
