Our Top Pick tonight is The Road (CBS, 9:30 p.m. / Paramount+, Monday). This country-focused reality music competition show is CBS testing the music reality waters. And I assume CBS knew that the returns on something like this would be small. Because country has fractured a lot in the last 20 years. Were fans supposed to rally around this drivel? Keith Urban and Blake Shelton as hosts(?) are aiming for broad appeal, which makes this show even less of a sell.
