They are playing with fire water here. FEMA is denying Wisconsin funds for our hundred year flood. They have given aid to some individuals but not all. Cripplingly Republican was it Washington or Ozaukee County or both? at least one of them was left out altogether. Those who have received aid haven't gotten anything close to the damage. You can't buy flood insurance if you want.to in Wisconsin. Cities, towns, towns, counties, even the state itself suffered massive damage. Wisconsin is a land of water which means that drainage is built in. It also means the water table is near the surface. We had the hardest, longest rainfall in memory and my memory goes back a long way. Another thing about so much water? There are a lot of Republicans whose piers are under water or are no longer there maybe along with that expensive boat and maybe that public boat launch that they rely on to maybe move that boat. And the big killer? Property taxes will go up. [WISN]

Trump is determined to go to war with the entire Caribbean. I'm not happy about this for all of the right reasons. I also have very selfish reasons. I'll be there in about a month. I doubt that he remembers yet that Puerto Rico is part of the US and if it's a shithole country then that dirty finger points back at us. Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino Is ordered to report to court for a dressing down. I'm hoping he's held in contempt of court but not holding my breath. He's been ignoring court orders left and right, throwing tear gas canisters into peaceful crowds himself. [CBS]
