What's On Tonight (Tuesday): Culture vultures, unite!

Courtesy Deadline.

Tonight's Top Pick is The Las Culturistas Culture Awards, hosted by Bowen Yang & Matt Rogers and adapted from their podcast. Somehow, I can't imagine this becoming an evergreen.

While I lobby for a revival of the American Video Awards, let's see what else TV has to offer us for Tuesday, Aug. 5. All times are Eastern.

STREAMING
Capturing Their Killer: The Girls on the High Bridge, 12:01 a.m., Hulu. Series premiere. "On Feb. 13, 2017, in the bucolic town of Delphi, Indiana, two young girls set out for an afternoon walk - and never returned. Their bodies were discovered the next day in a wooded area not far from the trail. Years after a chilling piece of evidence was discovered on one of the victims' phones, a local man was arrested for the horrifying murders. As the case unfolded in court, claims of ritualistic elements, sealed documents, and alleged ties to dark online subcultures shocked the nation and redefined the case." Three episodes available.

Murder 360, 3:01 a.m., Paramount+. Series premiere. "A true crime docuseries that uncovers 10 gripping murder cases from every possible angle. Through intimate interviews, expert analysis, and rare footage, the series paints a vivid portrait of the motive, method, and aftermath of each crime - from thrill killings to deadly vows." Ten episodes available.

SEC Football: Any Given Saturday, 3:01 a.m., Netflix. Series premiere. "Follow college football's most elite players and coaches in this unfiltered documentary series that goes behind the scenes of the 2024 SEC season." Seven episodes available.

Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, 3:01 a.m., Amazon. Special presentation. "Keke Palmer has questions for days, about everything under the sun. From the existential to the inconsequential. From pop culture to pop science."
