Spike Lee was working with ESPN on a film about Colin Kaepernick.. It's been called off over "artistic differences" and neither side is allowed to talk about it. Seems to me that ESPN got cold feet over pissing off the NFL which is one of there reasons for being. According to ESPN, Lee can take his work to another outlet but they don't mention the likely poison pill that will make that unlikely to impossible. [San Francisco Chronicle]

The suffering Reds stopped the Brewers' winning streak at 14. I'm fine with that. It's a club record. Now the Brewers head to play rival and second place Cubs. The Brewers are hungry again and so are the Cubs. This will be an exciting series. [WISN]

Accusations of psychological abuse have been filed against the former women's basketball team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison along with officials from the University who were made aware of he abuse and yet did nothing. [NBC]
