It's looking more and more likely that Kilmar Abrego Garcia will be illegally deported again. To Uganda. He has no connection to Uganda and would be a world away from his family and lawyers. In an interesting twist, in order for Uganda to accept Abrego Garcia the US will have to admit that he's not a criminal. As always the people in charge haven't thought this through. No matter. They will do what they want and the law be damned. [NPR]

Trump has removed the rainbows at the Stonewall National Monument where we fought back. DeSantis has removed the rainbow in front of Pulse Nightclub where we were massacred. Milwaukee is taking steps forward. 2nd St. and National Ave. is one of the historical centers of the LGBTQetc. community. Using private funding, rainbow flags will decorate two of the crosswalks at the intersection and will be painted by ex-Milwaukeean Jeremy Novy. Novy first made his name by painting fanciful koi fish around Milwaukee. Koi fish will be part of the painting project. I'm amused because Novy dated my best frenemy. I've known him for years. I own one of his woodblock paintings - it's directly across from where I'm sitting right now. Of course that's not my only connection. The building in the lower left corner is La Cage. That's the club where I DJed for 12 years and worked in other capacities before that. It was one of the first bars that I went to when I came out to Milwaukee. I was underage, uncarded and never paid for a thing. When they initiated a card policy, mine was one of the few with a single digit. [WTMJ]
