What's On Tonight (Wednesday): On the brink

Human Footprint

What's up, bitches! Here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, July 30!

Our Top Pick tonight is the season finale of Human Footprint (PBS, 9 p.m.). Biologist Shane Campbell-Staton provides a riveting slice of life on how humans have reshaped life on the planet and the science and complexities behind it. This season is better than the first, examining topics such as supermarkets and the food chain, invasive species, fashion/clothing, and the irrigation of the Colorado River. His diving into the why is solid but it is the science behind the ripple effects that look at a vast and complicated big picture that provide an awe. Nothing is simple. In this finale, the subject is extinctions, past and present.

ElsewhereCountdown had a boom, Buccaneers are divorcing, Acapulco has a staff shortage, streamers love murder, Jordan Klepper & Ronny Chieng want to Be a Millionaire, the Law gets a surrogate surprise, MasterChef puts in a bid, The Challenge begins season 41It's Always Sunny at the dog track, and Constance Zimmer wants a Match.
